Part 11 Sams wedding

I reached home. Sam and Michel were on the couch kissing. I cleared my throat 

Hi both said in union.

Where were you doll?  We have decided to get married on Friday. 

O that s great I rushed to hug Sam and she hugged me back.  I greeted Michel but she got up and hugged  me which surprised me and I looked at Sam. Sam gestured that all is fine now. Michel let go off me and kissed Sam again.

I'll lay the table till you both finished talking said Michel. I was surprised again that Michel was ready to leave Sam alone in my company. 

So where have you been. Sam Asked me.

I had to meet up with Chris.

Why?

We got along together and I have decided to move in with him till I can get a decent apartment and he has told me I can even pursue my interest. I think I will take up pottery again. When do you plan to move right after the wedding?

Hmm is all she said for me moving with Chris.

No. Michel will move in with me here till the end of the month and then we will be moving to New york. Michel wants to have 5 to 6 children and I seem to be fine with it. Once we move I will be busy a lot so I have told her she can start looking for dorners. I will miss you she said taking me in her arms 

I will too.

Friday morning we were at the registrars office. Clay had come in last evening. It  was the day of the wedding.  Sam had chosen a beautiful white dress with a lace. Her beautiful shoulders were bare and the tan on her arms was visible. she made a small messy bun with too many pins to keep the bun holding. She wore pearls that Michel had gifted her on her last birthday. She looked a beautiful and confident bride.

Sam and I were waiting for Michel to arrive. Michel walked in with her mom and sister. Michel was wearing a dress with straps. her dress ahd a flow and it looked like a Disney princess dress. she had left her hair open and her veil was hiding her face but we could see the wonderful smile. holding the bouquet she walked slowely and Sam muttered in my ears. Is she for real, will she be able to put up with me? How did I just get so lucky? 

You are special and so you found someone special for you to Love. I looked at them and wished I too had an easy life.

Sam and Michel were married after an hour. 

Chris had organised a lunch party at his hotel for them. When we reached there I looked around to see if Chris was there. But i could not spot him. Soon the drinks were served. I was busy talking to Clay. Clay had his arm on my shoulder and was making me laugh with his stupid humor. Clay had always taken care of me when I was sad. He knew that at this minute I was sad as Sam would be leaving.

I would become all alone. I was lost in thoughts when I suddenly heard Clay asking me How did Chris and you get together? He surly like you. 

I looked at him and questioned him with my eyes. He bent down to my ears and came close to me. Its been fifteen minutes since Chris had arrived and I have not seen him look at any other girl at all so unlike of him.

Thats not true. It just that we are together and  mostly by tomorrow I will be moving in with him

I nodded and saw Chris walk towards where we were standing.

He came a little closer and I heard Clay say be careful my love.  Clay kissed me on my cheek and walked to go greet the other guest.

 We need to talk now Chris said and I could sense him irritated. I could not figure why?
