Poonam's pov

Like always sabir came home at 8 in the evening. ...he had dinner...and started watching tv...I guess today was my lucky day as I didnt seem to have made a mistake according to him....

It was nearly 11 in the night when i was going to sleep and I heard the main door close....I guess sabir left....

I automatically felt relaxed and went to sleep....its rare that I get this treat....no beating

As a habit I woke up at 5 and started cleaning the house and made food.....sabir will come home to have breakfast. ....he treats this house as a hotel....and fight club where only he hits ....

Sabir came home but he was behaving weird. ....he smiled at me...smiled at me!

He has never done that....atleast not since we got married

I served him breakfast and he ate it without complaining

"Poonam..... we are invited to a dinner party today.... i'll pick you up at 7" sabir said and left....

Since the last 2 years he has never taken me out anywhere ....first time he is..... is he ok?... I mean no beating. ....he smiled....no complaining. ....he is taking me out for dinner party. ...

I was shocked with this radical change in one night.....I was soo engrossed in my thinking that I didn't realize that I was almost done cleaning for the day when the door bell rang....

"Hi poonam...." said raj

"Oh! Hi..." I said nervous
What if sabir comes suddenly?

"What you doing here?" I asked him

"Came to talk to you obviously. ...no time for friends? " he said

" no no...nothing like that....come in...." I said

We sat in the drawing room....and raj suddenly became serious.
"Poonam I am here to get all my unanswered questions. ....so .... from where do you want to start?" He asked

"What questions?"  I know what he talking about....but I can't tell him anything.

"Oh stop acting poonam...I know you since childhood. .... now answer or else I'll take out the lawyer in me" he said trying to lighten the mood

" I am happy raj" I stated

"Oh...right....you think I am fool poonam??.... I can't see how sabir controls you with his.little finger?  You think I cant see the hurts you have? .... you think I don't hear your screams of help in the night?....
I have not reached these heights in my career just like that poonam....."

After he said I realized I forgot to wear my cardigan to hide the hurts inflicted by sabir

I was shocked that he got to know everything. ....he heard me scream? 

"Poonam. ...as long as I know you...you are a strong independent woman....then why are you staying with this pethick excuse for a husband? ?"

I looked away and started crying..... but one question constantly kept hitting me....how did he come to know????

"Listen to me poonam....come with me...I'll help you...I'll get you justice....I'll make sure that $#@$#& gets the highest punishment! " he said holding me arm

I removed my hand from his...and pushed him away....

"Get out raj...." I said with tears in my eyes

"What?!" He said shocked

"I said get out!" I repeated

"After all this you are protecting him?" He asked shocked

"you don't know anything raj! And I cannot tell you! Now get out! " I almost shouted with tears still on my eyes

"Fine....I'll go poonam. ....but I won't leave it....I'll get to the end of it...." saying that he took his bag and rushed out.

After the main door was banged closed by raj in his temper

I fell down where I was standing and fell....as my knees couldn't take my weight nor the fact that raj knows.....but how?

Why is sabir behaving weird?
