"Just kill him already!" I shouted on my laptop's screen.

"Why don't they ever listen? Ugh!" People on movies are so stupid.

"Nora!" My mom shouted from downstairs. I closed my laptop and the shitty movie I was watcing and made my way downstairs to see what she wants.

"Yeah?" I asked when I saw my mom standing at the end of the stairs.

"I have to go to work something important came up." My mom said. She is a plastic surgeon so it's not unusual for her to have an emergency at her work and have to leave.

"What, happened now?"

"Wrinkle emergency." My mom said laughing.

"Oh God!" I said rolling my eyes.

"Well anyway, your dad is gonna get home late so, if you need anything call me or your dad, okay?" She said making her way to the front door.

"Yeah, don't worry I will be fine." I said rolling my eyes.

"You said exactly the same thing last time and I came home to find you locked in the basement with a broken arm." She said playfully.

It was a long time ago okay? Last month I think... I was home alone and I thought it would be fun to get down the stairs slidding on a big pillow. Big mistake, don't do that like never! The pillow slid off from underneath me and I fell down the stairs hitting my head and arm in the progress. To top it all off the door closed locking me inside the basement. I was locked down there for half an hour without my phone and the only source of light was a lighter I found.

"Haha very funny."

"Bye sweetheart I love you, oh I almost forgot, I have left some money on the kitchen's table for you to get something to eat." She said kissing my forehead.

"Love you too, okay mom thanks." I said and made my way back upstairs.

I didn't have anything to do so I decided to go get some dinner and walk for a while. I got dressed into a sweatshirt, some jeans and my black high top converse. I put on my jacket, grabbed my phone and keys and headed out. I went to McDonald's and took a burger, fries and a milkshake. I thought it would be better if I take my food and eat it somewhere else, because eating alone at McDonald's it's a little awkward and I'll feel like a loner. I started walking to the nearest park and sat down on a bench. I started eating my food and watched some kids playing hide and seek. A girl came running towards me and I smiled at her.

"Can you hide me?" She asked in a baby voice smiling back.

"Of course." I said and motioned for her to come and hide behind the bench. She started giggling when she was the only one left to find.

"Shhhh, they can hear you." I whispered-yelled at her, tyring not to laugh at her giggles. She is adorable!

"What's your name?" I turned to ask the girl.

"Anna, and yours?" She asked happily.

"Nora." I said smiling.

"You are really pretty Nora."

"Aw thanks, you are really pretty too Anna." I said pinching her cheek making her laugh.

"Thank you, oh they are coming I have to run!" She said getting up.

"Yeah you should better go, bye Anna." I said smiling.

"Bye Nora!" She waved and started running towards the other kids.
