Chapter Six

Two words

Monday morning

Mondays are the worst days ever! Every time I feel so tired and one hour feels like a week. I hate waking up in the morning to go to school. Every time I have to leave my lovely warm bed to go to a place I hate I feel like I'm dying a little inside. I know this is exaggerated but it's true!

I got up anyway, got dressed and went downstairs to get breakfast with my parents.

"Good morning." I said to them.

"Good morning sweetheart. I have made eggs and bacon."

"Thanks mom! Dad could you drive me to school? I don't feel like walking today." I asked him.

"Sure." He said while stuffing his mouth with bacon making me laugh and my mom to shake her head in fake disapproval.

After we ate I said good bye to mom and headed towards the car with my dad.

"Are you ready?" My dad asked.

"Yeah, let's go." I said with a sigh.

"Well, how is school going?" My dad asked, making me look at him with the are you serious face.

"It can't be that bad." He said laughing.

"Oh yes it is. Because I'm good student and I want to have good grades doesn't mean I want to be there or that I like it."

"Well it's your last year so don't worry, you will graduate soon." My dad said and I let out a sigh.

After ten minutes of drive we arrived to the school's parking lot. 

"Bye dad, thanks." I said to my dad as I got out of the car.

"Bye Nora, have a good day!" 

"You too." I said and closed the car door. I turned around and I was about to make my way to the entrance when I made eye contact with Andrew. I stood there like an idiot for a moment, when I understood what was happening I turned quickly around and made my way inside. 

What is it with me and I always end up making eye contact with him?

I made my way to my locker to grab my books and I saw Emy and the others standing there.

"Hey guys what's up."

"Emy just told us about the party! I'm so excited!" Alli said.

"You are coming right?" Mike asked me.

"Um... No, I don't think so..."

"Oh come on it will be epic!" Vale said.

"No guys, I'm sorry I can't."

The bell rung, we all said our good byes and that we will see each other at lunch and made our way to our classes.

Finally it was time for lunch. I made my way to the cafeteria, bought some lunch and made my way over to where the others were sitting.

"Hey Nora." Alli greeted me.

"Hey guys."

"Wha-" Mike was ready to say something when everyone at the cafeteria went dead silent. We turned around and saw Jessica, the school's Queen bitch throwing her chocolate milk all over some poor girl. Jessica always bullies other kids and no one is daring to tell her anything. That's so unfair. Everyone is so scared of her and what she will do if they go against her will. Without thinking I found myself getting up and heading towards Jessica and the poor girl who I guess is a freshman.
