"Hey there! How are you holding up, Tim?" asked Luke.
"I'm fine too! Alright, see you in our Science class!" replied Tim.
Luke rushed to his class, noticing that he would be late if he delayed longer. He was not watching where he was going and, Crash! Luke barely got hurt when he hit a girl but the impact sent her to the ground. She groaned in pain as Luke offered a hand and carried her to the General Office to check on her injuries. Luckily, she suffered minor injuries.
She told Luke that she was Jessie and Luke introduced himself too. Coincidentally, they were heading to the same class.
Even though the teacher was strict and talking, Luke was barely focusing on the lesson. He was constantly glancing at Jessie and his mind reeled back to when he hit her and did not learn anything from his teacher.
Just as he was about to take another glance at Jessie, the school bell rang, signaling the end of Science class. He moved to his locker hastily, took all he needed for his next lesson, English, and moved to his class. By now, Tim noticed that Luke was barely focused and decided to ask him about it.
