A Bad Night

Shy eased her way in the bed trying not to wake Tay up . She lifted the cover to snuggle under her but she woke up and turned around .

"How did....." Tay said
"You gave me a key." Shy replied interrupting her.
"Did you really mean that stuff you said on the phone ?" Tay asked
"Yes , yes I did... You have made me the happiest person ever . I haven't been this happy in years Tay like you just don't know what happens to me when I see you. We've only been talking for about 5 or 6 months and yes I know that's a short amount of time but when I'm with you , all the pain and everything I feel inside goes away. You make me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world . Your cute good morning texts when you can't stay with me , the way you hold me , the way you fuck me , the way you kiss me , the way you touch me , the way you do everything Tay. I love you and I want you and only you . So can you forgive me for this dumb ass mistake .? I'm done with her , she's just ugh I don't even want to talk about her . I only want you ." Shy said softly , slightly crying

Tay wiped the tear that was falling from her face then kissed her . Tay held her close and tight .
"I understand how you feel babe I feel the same way . I never felt this way towards anybody . I've been with 5 females and I never felt like this way about any of them. Besides one but I don't want to talk about her . She's the reason I didn't want to love or feel anything but along came you and changed my mind for the better . When I'm with you my palms get sweaty , I get nervous , you make me weak . And I know you been through a lot and I have too , you're hurt and your heart is in a million pieces but I'm here to show you that love is out there and it's a beautiful thing . Can I be the one to show you ? Tay said .
"Yes you can . I just feel so safe with you babe. Who knew my love was in walmart ? " Shy said laughing

Tay kisses Shy softly and holds her until she's sleep. Shortly after Shy went to sleep Tay was sleep along with her . But she was woken up about a hour or 2 later to a phone call from her cousin .
"Hello" Tay said rubbing her eyes.
"Our uncle is in the hospital again . He's condition is worse . Come to the hospital quick , grandma wants you here." Tay's cousins replied
"What .! Alright I'll be there in a few" Tay said while hanging up and getting out of bed
"Babe what's wrong ? Where are you going ?" Shy said while rolling over
"My cousin just called me , my uncle is in the hospital again and his condition is worse than before. You can come if you want or you can stay here until I get back " Tay replied
"I'm coming with you babe " Shy said back while getting out of the bed
Tay grabs her phone and car keys from the counter and headed for the door, Shy followed behind . She locks the door behind her and runs down the stairs . Tay unlocked the car doors and they got in . Tay pulled of the parking lot speeding .

"Babe slow down" Shy said
"I'm not going that fast . I'm only going 60 " Tay replied while turning the corner
"Okay . Can you tell me what's wrong with your uncle please " Shy replied
"My uncle has been drinking since his mom died . His mom died years ago . I don't think I was born when she died . But they said that if he has the surgery he dies , if he doesn't he dies . He's drunk himself to death . It's just hard I hate seeing him like this . He's losing weight , he doesn't look like the uncle I know and love dearly . It's just so much on my mind . I leave for Atlanta tomorrow morning but I know my family is going to want me to stay . I don't know what to do babe ." Tay said crying a little

Tay pulls up at the hospital , turns off the car and sits there crying . Shy holds her hand and wipes the tears as they fall from Tay's eyes .
"Babe I'm here for you and I'm going to help you be strong through this tough time. I lost my uncle due to this same problem . I understand how you feel . Yes it's hard. Life is hard . But trust me babe it gets better . I promise you it will" Shy said softly while giving her a kiss .
"Thanks for being here for me babe . This means a lot to me ." Tay replied.
They get out the car , she locks the car doors and head into the hospital . When they get inside they are met by Tay's mom
"Hey mom" Tay said softly
"Hello . Hello Shy " Tay's mom replied "Hello ." Shy said back
"He's not looking too good . They say he doesn't have long . He wants to see you . He asked about you like 3 times. Are you gonna go back and see him .?" Tay's mom said
"Yeah I'm going to go . Where is grandma ? " Tay asked
"Over there ." Tay's mom replied .
"Hey grandma ." Tay said giving her a kiss
"I'm glad you came . He really been asking about you . Who is beautiful young lady with you" Tay's grandma asked
"This is Shy . Shy this is my grandma" Tay said
"Hello ma'am . Nice to meet you " Shy said
"Hello sweetheart " Tay's grandma replied
"I'm going to go back and see him" Tay responded

Tay walks back to her uncles room . Sure thing Shy is right there by her side . Before Tay walked in the room she stopped , wiped the tears from her face , gave Shy a kiss then walked in.

Tay and her uncle talked for a while . After she was done talking to him she goes back to the waiting room where her family was and kisses and hugged them goodbye then they left .
"Do you want me to drive babe ? "
Shy said while placing her hand on Tay's chest
"Yeah you can drive home" Tay replied
"Before I pull off look at me ... Remember what I told you . When I walked in that hospital with you it was love everywhere . When I walked in the room with you I saw how he reacted to see you and hearing your voice . He loves you dearly . And I know you love him too . It's his time to go be with his mom . I'm here with you every step of the way babe . I'm not going anywhere." Shy said softly
"Thanks babe. I've been meaning to tell him sorry for the little argument we got Into . I said some things I should've have said and I wanted to apologize to him . I forgot to because I got caught up laughing with him and talking . I'll tell him next time I see him . I love you babe . Can we go home I want to go to sleep" Tay replied crying
"Yes we can ." Shy said back giving her a kiss and pulling out the parking lot and heading back to Tay's house
