Hard Time

Tay sits on the edge of the bed crying thinking to herself "Why god?" She couldn't believe her uncle passed and she only seen him once while he was in the hospital everything was hitting her at once. "Why did god have to take him so soon I didn't get a chance to tell him I'm sorry." she said softly . The day she went and seen him in the hospital he held her hand and told her "Be good , you hear. I love you" she looked him in is eyes and "I love you too." His funeral was a couple days later and it was a really hard time for her she broke down crying and shaking her head . After the funeral was over Tay went back home took a shower and got ready for the family gathering they were having . As she was putting on her shirt Shy calls.
"Hello" Tay says .
"Hey babe , how are you doing ? " Shy replies back softly .
"Im doing okay I just want to see  you . Where are you at ? " Tay responds
"I'm at home baby . I'm on my way , I'll be there in a few minutes. Do you want or need anything?" Shy says back
"Can you bring me a shell and that's it . I just want you and a blunt ." Tay replies
"Okay babe I'll be there in 10 minutes ." Shy said quickly
"I love you Shy" Tay said softly
"I love you too " Shy said back
They hang up and Tay finishes getting dressed and cleans up a little before Shy comes over . Tay walks into the bathroom and stands there just looking at her reflection until she broke down crying saying "I'm sorry" repeatedly. She wipes the tears away and then she heard her phone ring she realized it's Nani and answers quick.

"Yes Nani . What's up ? " Tay said while walking into the kitchen

" I'm so sorry for your lost I know how much you loved him that's number one now number two is this trip to Atlanta . This is the next big move , I know the funeral was just yesterday I tried to talk to the head owner of the build but he wasn't available but I talked to his assistant and he said that he'll give him the message. The big thing now is are you ready to go over here , close this deal and make this money ? Nani replied

"Now you know I love money and I'm going to go get it I'm ready to go to Atlanta and close this deal. I'm bringing Shy with me so I'm more than ready but I also know my family needs me. I don't know what to do Nani, can you give me the assistants number so I can call him myself? " Tay replies

"Sure I'll text it to you you just let me know what you want to do love and I'm all in you know that ." Nani said back .

"I'll call you back after I call him , Im about to get the blueprints together  and call Shy then I'll go see my family."Tay replied while getting the blueprints

"Okay baby love just call me I'll answer I'm about to start packing then go help Jojo with his homework. I love you Tay" Nani said .
"Alright , give little man a hug for me I love you too" She replied while hanging up .

Tay rolls up the blueprints then put them on the table . Then she sits down on the couch exhales deeply then picks up her phone and calls the assistant .

"Hello?" The assistant said

"Hi my name is Tay and I'm just calling to talk to the owner of the building that is for sell on 9th street. You might have talked to my assistant Nani . I'm just giving you a call personally." Tay replied

"Hello Tay my name is Maya nice to meet you first and foremost. Yes I did talk to your assistant she said that you had a family emergency and you just wanted to see if you could postpone the arrangement to make the deal. I have talk to Derek and he said that he can extend the deal for another day or 2 and he send his prayers to your family . "  Maya said back

"That is great I'm glad to hear that . I just had a death in my family and the funeral was just yesterday and I know my family is going to need me so I really appreciate the extension. It was nice talking to you Maya. Tell Derek I said thanks , have a nice day." Tay replied while hanging up .

She sits there looking at the tv just thinking and then she begins to pray . After she was done she gets up and goes into the kitchen and gets a bottle of water then as she's walking back into the front room she hears a knock at the door she immediately think it's Shy but to her surprise it wasn't.
