Samantha's POV
I'm wearing a white blouse and a black pencil skirt. I hate to dress up, it's not my thing. I knock on the large French doors of my childhood home. My mom greets me with a warm smile.
"Be nice and proper." She whispers in my ear.
I nod and we head over to the living room. A man and a woman about my mother's age are talking and sitting on the beige leather couch. I suddenly realize it's the same man that I bumped into yesterday. He captures my eye and I freeze. He gasps and our mothers look at each other.
My mom clears her throat, "Well, if you remember Sam, this is Aaron."
I choke on my own spit,"As in Aaron Tveit?"
She nods and I mentally slap myself. How am I going to live with my bully? The skinny, lanky boy turned into a man and he's becoming my fiancé!
"You want me to marry him?" I literally scream.
"Is there something wrong?" His mother asks.
"N-no. Just surprised." I don't look up.
"Well, go on you two to Sam's room. Get to know each other better. Go show him your room Sam." My mom nudges me upstairs.
Aaron follows behind me and I don't dare to look at him.
Aaron's POV
I can't believe it. Out of every girl in this world, my mom decides to pick Samantha fucking Barks. She better not go telling everyone what I did to her when we were younger. A rush of anger surges through me.
Her room is painted a bright blue and a cream colored bed stood in the corner. Pictures of her childhood and family line the wall. A desk and tv border the other side of the room. Sam gets close to me.
"You better not fuck this up, dickhead."
"I think your talking about yourself, bitch."
She glares at me, "You better have some respect for your future wife and fiancé."
"We're not even married yet. Chill."
"Well, maybe it's because I'm marrying YOU, my enemy." She points at me.
"I'm marrying you too whore! You don't think I feel the same way?"
"You're not as grand as you think you are, so shut up asshole."
"How about you shut your face."
"I can't fucking marry you." She groans and plops on her bed.
Her brown waves scatter across the bed and she covers her face with her hands.
"I can't believe this is actually happening. We're going to be married in a month." I frown.
I can't even imagine marrying Sam. It would be an utter embarrassment. I have a girlfriend for God's sake and she's hot. I can't break up with Leslie. She'll kill me and it will all be Sam's fault. My life will be ruined.
After the meet, my mom drove me to Leslie's house to tell her I was getting married.
"Go tell her now, Aaron Kyle Tveit!" She screams.
"Mom! This can wait! She'll be digging my grave!" I moan and slide a had down my face.
"The sooner the better, Aaron! Plus, I didn't drive so far for you to say nothing! Now move your ass!" She glares.
I groan and drag myself to Leslie's front door. I ring the doorbell and the door swings open. The most beautiful girl steps out of the door. Her blonde hair cascades down her back like a waterfall, her blue eyes look into mine. She's in a tight red dress and she looks sexy.
"Baby!" She squeals and hugs me.
"Hey babe, I need to talk to you." I say solemnly.
She lets me into her huge house. Her family is extremely wealthy like mine.
"What's wrong? You look so upset." She frowns.
I take her hands in mine.
"I really don't know how to put this...but I'm getting married."
"WHAT? To who? Why are you getting married. How could you do this to me! I fucking love you! Who is this little bitch! I'll kill her and you! WAIT! THAT MEANS YOU CHEATED ON ME AARON! I LOVED YOU AARON! YOU WERE MY EVERYTHING!" Leslie sobbed.
She was having a total meltdown.
I tried to hold her, but instead she hissed, "Don't you dare touch me again."
"Les, my mom was the one who arranged the wedding! If I had a choice I would be marrying you!"
Mascara ran down her cheeks and her hair was sticking out in different places, "Then marry me! If you do then maybe your parents will change their mind!"
"I can't Leslie! It's not that easy!" I run a hand through my hair.
"If you loved me, you would fight for me." She yells.
"IM TRYING, BUT IT'S NOT MY CHOICE!" I roar.
"Just get out," She points at the door.
"What?"
"Get. Out." She sputters out of her tears.
She violently pushes me out the door and slams it.
I sigh and walk back to my mom's car.
"How did it go?" She asks.
"How do you think it went?" I reply angrily.
She purses her lips and we drive back to my house in silence.
