"Is the bread bad?"
"It's molding."
"Is the milk bad?"
"It's gone sour."
"Is the soup bad?"
"It's too old."
"Is the butter bad?"
"It's oily."
"Is the water dirty?"
"No, the water is fine"
The milkmaid and the daughter fussed.
"Are you feeling well?"
"I feel dizzy."
"Are the cattle fed?"
"Mostly."
"Are the hens fed?"
"Mostly."
"Are the dogs fed?"
"Mostly."
"Are the cats fed?"
"Mostly."
"Are the swine fed?"
"No, the swine didn't deserve their meal."
The milkmaid and the daughter nagged.
"Are you feeling well?"
"I feel drowsy."
"Did you wash the undergarments?"
"All but one lonely piece."
"Did you wash the dresses?"
"All but one lonely piece."
"Did you wash the sheets?"
"All but one lonely piece."
"Did you wash the pillows?"
"All but one lonely piece."
"Did you wash the blankets?"
"No, the blankets were already clean."
The milkmaid and the daughter criticized.
"Are you feeling well?"
"I feel nauseous."
"Wake up, it's time for breakfast."
"Wake up, it's time for chores."
"Wake up, it's time for lunch."
"Wake up, it's time for chores."
"Wake up, it's time for dinner."
The milkmaid turned over the daughter's face to find that she had been dead for days.
And to cover her laughter, she kicked the bucket soon the night after.
