We were walking through the forest and I was close to letting out a big sigh. I was never one for nature trails or science.
Griffin was busy looking for animals, which was stupid. Animals went to their homes during storms like these. I wanted to tell him this but he looked on the verge of insanity so I kept quiet.
When Griffin looked very busy, I turned and started walking away. Then he Called my name.
"Hey Sophie, come look at this. It looks out of place here."
"It's a rock. Very out of place."
"Well why is the ROCK smoking."
"It was probably hit by lightning." He touched it.
"It's not hot. If it was hit by lightning, then it would be hot and plus lightning hits the tallest object around."
I shrugged. "It's a natural pneumonia."
Griffin was starting to get annoying and I could care less about a damn rock. I had to go to my business now or it would be too late.
"Listen, I gotta go so... See ya around."
"No Sophie, come feel the ROCK. It feels soft."
I let out a sigh and walked forward and touched the rock Griffin was holding.
"Ok now that I've touched..." I never got to finish my sentence.
The whole earth started spinning or was it just me spinning. I closed my eyes. It was too much for my small frame to take. I started screaming. I couldn't handle it. Then it stopped.
