At the beginning of 4th grade, I met his girl. I knew when I first saw her, that we would make great friends. Kinda like that love at first sight thing. And for once, I was right. We still have each other's backs to this day. And that's saying something, since it's been about four and a half years since I met her. I could tell that we would get along great, since we were both very broken. Her name was Eren. She had short hair, and everyone teased her about it. No one liked her because they thought she looked like a boy. I thought she looked fabulous. We did literally EVERYTHING together. And when it was my turn to get bullied later in the year, she was there for me. She definitely taught me a lot of things. Including how to play in your phone in class without your teacher finding out. :P
Eren introduced me to a new type of people. The outcasts. Now, these were the people who were treated like broken dolls at my elementary school. They knew what it felt like to be alone, and we were all pretty broken. It felt nice to be a part of something. Not like it was a big priority or anything.
I fit right in, since I was pretty unstable. My brother suffered from multiple mental illnesses and I was given crap about it often. My parents never played that much attention to me growing up. All I just wanted to impress them.
The group consisted of five people. Eren, Denny, Dekota, Casey and me, Angel. That was my birth name. Angel. I hated it. It just wasn't me. But at least I was in a better place now. At least I had people who I considered my friends.
