Beginning of chapter
Part 2
As I look down at my hands, I realize how serious this it. Its either I die or I don't. "Ok let's do this! Come at me you hideous animals!" I yell as I feel the surge of energy rushing to my finger tips. It feels different this time, its less energy than usual. Then suddenly a sort of sphere forms in my hand and I just throw it in instinct. As it hits the ground next to all of the Fallen, it explodes with a shock wave that sends their bodies flying. "My God, I didn't know I could do that!" I yell out loud. "Your just mastering your skills, just wait till you unlock the rest!" The Ghost says. I look up due to a roar I hear. Its a really big Fallen, I was told that they are called "captain's." "Oh shit, this isn't good.." I say in a mumble. At least I worn off the rest, but this guy is huge! I look at my hand again. "Let's see what else I can do." I try to configure my ark energy to do something else, and it works. All of the sudden, the energy surges to my palm and stays there. I look up, and like before, I know what to do. "Arghh!!" I yell while the Captain and I charge at each other with brute force. And I feel all the energy go from my palm to the Fallen leader. Then a huge explosion is heard, and with a flash of light, I blank out.
I wake up 3 meters away from what I last remember, and I see my palm is scorched up like a burned piece of wood. "Ughh, what happened?" I ask. And to my surprise Apex responds. "Well first of all, you buddy just discovered two new abilities, and one is what we call a "super!" I look at him in confusion. "Wait, like when the lightning bolts come out of my hands?" I ask. "Yup, and this one is wayy stronger, strong enough to make you pass out. Ha!" Apex says as he laughs. "Your work is not done, you still have that crash site to check out, and not to worry, I brought u ammo!" He yells with a grin.
We approach the crash site, as I look around I see the ship, or what was the ship, all broken up and scorched. "I don't think they survived..." Says Apex. "No shit." I say, we approach the hull oh the ship and I let the Ghost scan it, "well they did give out a distress signal, but it's corrupted, the Fallen must of gotten to it first." Say the Ghost. "Can you decipher it?" I ask. "No, but maybe the Cryptarcs can." He says, "oh sorry, the Cryptarcs are men with great minds who can uncover things in incripted files and items like engrams, but they should know what to do with this, let's get back to the tower." Say the Ghost, we hop into out ship and head for the tower, if only we were ready for what was yet to come...
