First came the unusually loud sound of running water before the creaking of a handle being turned, making the sound of water stop. Then came the beating pain inside his head, only increasing as cold water was poured over him, soaking every inch and bringing him back to life.
"Hey!"
A rough voice spoke up from beside him. It seemed like a chuckle followed shortly afterwards but one could never be sure in his condition. Aaron inhaled suddenly and rolled his head to the side, his eyes closing tighter.
"He's coming back..."
Another familiar voice said. A female. Definately a female. The light came first in short bursts and then all at once as he struggled to keep his eyes open. He slid his elbows back underneath him to prop himself up a bit, the pain in his head growing stronger with every movement.
"Back so soon are we?"
The same deep voice from before says, still standing close beside him. Aaron groaned when his neck failed to keep the heavy weight of his head up, sending it rolling back on his shoulders. His arms slid back down to his sides, his head crashing back onto the cold surface where it had once laid. Before he could do much more, small hands grasped his shoulders and lifted him up into a sitting position.
"Aaron...c'mon, buddy."
The females soft voice churned from in front of him. She seemed to be closer than she should've been but he couldn't easily tell. Everything was still all blurred and fuzzy. His eyes closed again and his head began to roll back just as someone held it up.
"He's not good, Grant. We'll need more help than this to wake him up and get him moving."
Without the feeling of any movement, his back came down onto the ice cold surface, his head laying back down as well. His breathing was slow and forced, his chest only rising roughly every fifteen seconds. The quiet voices of the two figures standing near started to fade out as his consciousness started to slip away once again.
"Take him to the chair. It's the last thing we can do."
The girl looked up, her eyes widening instantly. "But he's soaked!" She said in complete shock at the suggestion. Grant nodded and shrugged his shoulders.
"What other choice do we have, Leah? Either he dies or we use the chair." She looked back down to Aaron and took a deep breath before nodding in understanding.
Within seconds he was lifted, his body feeling lighter in an instant, and taken to a metal chair. Goosebumps spotted his arms as they were strapped to the arm rests. His head slowly rolled back as the chair reclined. Small hands held his chin up while they slipped a band around his forehead. He still couldn't see or hear much of anything.

His eyes cracked open for only a second to see the blurry, slim figure move from behind him and bend over, the warm feel of arms closing over his nearly numb torso flooding through him.
"Stay strong." The voice whispered before its owner disappeared to stand next to the tall, brawny figure that stood a few feet away. Aaron's eyes fell to a close and his head turned so his cheek laid against the cold back of the chair he sat on.
Then it came.
The sudden bursts of light seemingly shocked through him, sending him into a spaz attack. His entire body trembled and his hands and feet shook frantically. His lungs expanded and contracted in seconds, bringing his heart rate higher than ever before. Then it all stopped.
The electricity died down, short volts shocking through him as he remained strapped to the chair. His fists and jaw relaxed as his heart rate slowed quickly. As another shock rattled through him, his heart coming to a complete stop and his body fell limp. Leah's eyes tested up and she shook her head quickly. "No..."

She looked up to Grant before running over to the chair and setting a hand on Aaron's cheek.
"Aaron. No. Please."
She begged for his life to come back. Her hands moved quickly to unstrap his hands and remove the headband. A long moment of silence and tears passed, Aaron remaining still and dead to the others in the room. The girl burried her face in his chest, tears flowing from her eyes. Grant walked over and gently set his hand on her shoulder, looking down at her.
"He's gone, Leah. I'm sorr-"
He started quietly, stopping suddenly in shock as a cold hand reached up and grasped his forearm. Fear struck him instantly, his head quickly turning and looking at the hand that held onto him tightly. His eyes followed up the arm to find Aaron staring directly at him, his breathing heavy and forced. His eyes glowed blue, the color becoming brighter as electricity shocked through them. A growl came through Aaron's mouth before he tightened his grip on Grant's arm just a bit, sending vibrant bolts of electricity through him. Grant's whole body trembled and his heart stopped almost instantly. Aaron's fingers straightened, letting Grant fall to the ground lifeless. Then his glowing eyes turned to the girl who stood directly in front of him, her expression nothing but fear and complete disbelief.

"Aaron...?"
