Love is special. Love is one of a kind. Love can leave you blind.

BLAKE POV

Have you ever felt like your world has crashed to a million pieces? Like everything you lived for, has just disappeared.

The hole in your heart is the size of the Pacific Ocean.

The vast ocean of emptiness can not be filled by anything anyone else can offer.

This is the feeling I have.

Hurt.

Emptiness.

Lonely.

My life crumpled in a matter of seconds.

"Valentine!" I called as my beautiful daughter walked over to me.

"Yes daddy?" She asks in a sweet bird voice.

"Where's momma Casey?"

"She went upstairs."  I grin at Valentine and make my way up the stairs.

I open the door to Casey's bedroom. And the scene in front of me is horrible.

My world and my heart crumble at the sight of the girl I love kissing the asshole of an ex she had.

Carson.

I make a small noise as I stumble from the shock.

Casey quickly pulls away. She gives me a look. One that I can't quite make out. There's fear? shock? Guilt? Regret?

I stumble back again as Casey calls my name. She keeps talking to me as I walk out of the room and down the hall.

At the moment things are happening in a blur.

But as I reach the bottom of the stairs, my worst nightmares come true.

Not only was Casey kissing her ex. But now....

Valentine was gone.

The note taped to the door made my heart shatter even more.

Two hits to this heart of mine. Two hits to make it fall apart. Two hits to completely destroy me. And those two hits were the last thing I remember before Casey appeared in front of me. The look of horror in her eyes, her hand was over her mouth as she read over the note.

She looks me straight in the eyes. My heart get heavy, her beautiful eyes. But then her own eyes widen and she calls out my name. But I hear nothing.

Then the world is black.

As black as the hole that's in my heart.

No one has a heart of steel.
