Jayel: I don't know much about you but since I'm stuck with you,I'll tell you something about me.

Me: Jayel, I don't want to know. I don't care of who you are. It's not my business.

Jayel: Ah...you sound noble. Anyways, my full name is Jayel Ru Krayvin. As you can see, I'm born in a wealthy family with blind eyes. My dad owns a company and my mom is a famous lawyer. I'm the older one out of the siblings. My brother, Xun, and I are the heir to my dad's company. Though, Xun will be the one who'll be taking on after dad because I'm blind. It is good for me since I never wanted the company anyways. I was homeschooled by paid tutors and my parents are really nice people who can be mean without realizing but it doesn't matter. I spend my days inside and try learning new things in my free time.

Me: Cool name. Your family has a good future. Homeschooling and staying inside probably means you didn't have any friends. Now, you have me but you know, you'll be known as partially crazy being for talking to "thin air". And, a maid is standing in front of the open door and you're probably screwed now.

She turned around and started chuckling nervously.

Jayel: Sorry. I felt a bit lonely by myself so I started talking to myself. I hope you didn't find that weird.

Maid: It's okay. I didn't mean to disturb you but your family has gathered at the dinner table and they want you there.

Jayel: I'll be there.

She smiles and leaves.

Me: Wealthy people and dinner tables. Funny.

She ignored me and went outside to walk down the stairs.

Honestly, I didn't want to follow her but I did anyways.

They all greeted each other.

Uncomfortable silence surrounded the atmosphere.

There was this strange distant feelings coming off them.

As if no one as knowledges each other.

This must be a somewhat dysfunctional family but again, who am I to judge such things as family?

I barely had one.

Nonexistent to me but existent to others.

Jayel: Do you have something to say to me? I usually don't get called down to be spoken to.

I don't know their names!

How come she introduced herself but never told me her parents name? I'll just call them JX dad. See what I did there? Ah...I sometimes amuse myself with my intelligence. Or not.

JX dad: Well...you'll be getting uh married...

Jayel: Uh...wha...

Xun: Our parents are thinking of getting you married to this guy I don't like at all. Simply put in two words..."rich bastard".

Well...this escalated pretty fast.

Eating to marriage to choking on food.

Jayel literally had been choking for the past two minutes even though she drank water.

JX mom: I don't know if this decision is really good but you need a life partner and someone that can help you through your struggles.

Jayel: Can't I just get old by myself and not get married to this "rich bastard" as my brother has stated?

Xun: The struggles! If I weren't your brother, I would marry you but then again, that sounds messed up. Can't she get married to someone I choose?

Jayel: Can't I not get married at all?

JX dad: You have to get married. If you have someone, then tell us so we won't arrange the official marriage to that young men.

Xun: Correction. Rich bastard.

I'm starting to like Xun's personality more and more. If I were alive, we would be best friends.

Jayel: Yes! I do! It's uh...this guy.

JX dad: Whose name is?...

She looked at me.

Oh no...what is she going to do?!

She smiled.

Me: No! Don't do it! You will see the worst of me if you make up a name for me and use my background. You will perish!

Not really.

Jayel: Well, he lives in Italy. His name is Livius Decimus...

Me: Wow...that's actually not a bad name. Except it's not my name. And what the hell? Must I tell you that Livius is actually my dead uncles name? The coincidence....make me cringe inside.

Xun: Cool name. Is he nice? Is he not a rich bastard? If he's not, then I approve of him.

JX dad: Then, we're going to Italy and meeting him.

Jayel: But he has a uh..terminal disease....He died yesterday. I've been so devastated. Haven't you seen me act weird? I couldn't tell you of my relationship because I thought you wouldn't approve. I don't want to be in a relationship since my heart is in so much pain right now.

Tears almost fell out of her eyes.

Dang...she's a good actress.

Me: Damn, girl. I have a new found respect for you. Although, you chose a lame death for Livius who's me but it's not my name and I'm already dead.

JX mom: Oh Jayel, I'm so sorry. I didn't know. You should've told us so we could've helped him survive. You don't have to get married.

Xun: Yeah. You shouldn't. I guess, I understand your feelings a bit even if I never had a girlfriend...

JX dad: Okay. But you're still getting married. Though, we're not going to plan your marriage now. Since you're still young, you have time. You'll get married in three years...That should be enough time for you to get over your broken heart.

They all went back to eating their dinner after her dad made his statement.

Her dad must be a stubborn being.

Well, a dead person like me was almost getting married to a human.

It had a huge twist.

The only thing they don't is that she was talking about a ghost who was sitting in an empty chair.

Funny.

It's been a long time since a human spoke about me to others.
