Me: Wake up, child! I must aid your heart!

Jayel: Shut up, you ghost. Go to sleep.

Me: I said...I have to aid your heart.

Jayel: Why?

Me: Because. Just because.

She gave me a weird look.

I gave her a weirder look.

She got up from her bed and stood up.

Me: Don't take it weirdly. There are things I need to protect you from before I'm able to leave completely.

Jayel: Still...sounds weird.

Me: Oh my heavens! Just let your dead fiancé protect your soul!

Jayel: Whaa...?! That fiancé thing! Don't tease me about it.

As she kept complaining, I put a barrier around her.

There were pieces of darkness still stuck in her heart. It wouldn't get off.

Just stuck there like glue. I couldn't even do anything about it last night because it was hurting her.

I closed my eyes and focused on the darkness.

Jayel: What the heck is that?!

Finally! It's off! Now, I just need to put a stronger barrier around her heart.

Me: Yay! Now, no one can do any harm. Awesome. I'm proud of my abilities.

Jayel: Would you please explain this to me?

Me: No. You'll only be scared if you know too much.

Jayel: I won't be.

Me: You will be. It's more like I'm scared that you'll disappear.

Jayel: Huh?

Me: Whales. I was looking at a whale yesterday.

Jayel: Um...why?

Me: It looked sad. I think it's known as the loneliest creature because it can't communicate. The pitch it uses to communicate sounds weird to other whales so they ignore that whale.

Jayel: Are you okay?

Me: Am I? I don't know. I'm just talking about whales. It just looks sad, you know. But who knows, it might be not as lonely as people think.

Jayel: You're not okay. You probably need some rest. Go sleep. I'll pretend like this conversation never happened.

Me: Oh whales then...

Jayel: What's with you and whales?

Me: I'm just thinking about it so that lonely whale won't feel lonely.

Jayel: Yup. This ghost is not stable today.

Me: I know, right? My life isn't stable!!!

Jayel: Depressed ghost who actually has a life.

Me: Hey! I'm sensitive about that life subject you speak of.

Jayel: What did you mean by you being scared of me disappearing?

Me: Butterfly.
