Chapter 33

~Later That Day~8:36 p.m.~

~Safaree POV~

Me, Nicki, Lauren, Drake, G, Wayne, Trey, Courtney, Thembi, and Kelly are downstairs in the living room having a good time. Nicki was sitting on my lap. We were sitting on the floor.

Courtney:So, was S.J. planned?

Nicki:No. Not at all. I wasn't even thinking about having a child until I was older, but you know. Ever since he was born, I have changed. A lot.

Lauren:She did.

Wayne:She's not having another one until S.J. is 10.

Safaree:That's what I told her.

Drake:You ready for Sabrina?

Safaree:I mean, I know what to do since we got S.J.

Trey:You're a good father Safaree.

Safaree:Thanks man.

It was silent before we heard S.J. screaming to the top of his lungs.

Nicki:Can you get him for me?

Safaree:Yeah.

I got up and went upstairs and walked into the room to see him still crying. I picked him up and he was still screaming to the top of his lungs.

Safaree:You want mommy. Okay.

I went downstairs and Nicki had a shocked look on her face. So,she walked towards me and took him from me.

~Nicki POV~

He really is a mommy's baby. I rocked him back and forth and when he saw me, he started smiling.

Nicki:Hey momma's fatty.

I went back in the living room and I sat down with him.

Nicki:Get me a bottle baby.

Safaree:On it.

Courtney:So, when you told him you were pregnant, how did he react?

Nicki:He was happy. You know, I kinda expected it that way and G and Byron was like you gotta tell him and I kept on saying no, but I told him.

Safaree:Those hours of birth were horrible.

Nicki:He was a blessing to me. That's why I don't care what anybody says about me. Now, if you say somethin about him, you will catch these hands. I don't play about this one.

Safaree:She doesn't. Here you go.

Nicki:Thanks.

I took the bottle from his hand and started feeding it to S.J.

Lauren:Weren't you supposed to be breastfeeding him?

Nicki:I do it every now and then.

Kelley:It hurts doesn't it.

Nicki:Heck yeah. One thing I hated was I didn't want a baby shower.

Courtney:Why?

Nicki:I don't know. But the people who care
about me, they really came through for me and I appreciated it. Thank you y'all.

Wayne:I was the one who got the shirts.

Lauren:I got the shoes.

Drake:I got the diapers.

G:I think I got the pacifiers.

Nicki:I still haven't ran low on diapers. Thanks Aubrey.
