After they had defeated the masked man and the army, Alex ran to her grandmothers room and cried. She cried for 2 reasons, 1 because her grandmother died and 2 because of Rook. He was her first love and he did not only break her heart, he smashed it, stepped on it, and broke it into a million pieces. She decided she was going to leave this place. She broke into tears as she positioned herself over the balcony. "Alex, can I come in??" Asked Connor. He was worried sick about his sister. " Sure, if you want to see me before I die." She said in between sobs." Die?? WAIT,WHAT?" Connor said as he opened the door. "Please don't go. I already lost grandma, I don't want to lose you too.PLEASEE!!!" Connor said as he fell onto his knees on the floor. Alex turned around and looked at Connor. He was crying. He never cried, not even when their father died. Alex ran to him and gave him a hug. As Alex was falling asleep he whispered " Rook's a jerk. Don't listen to him. Promise me?" "I promise". Alex said before her eyelids closed.
