Kailua?

The door swings open in what seems like slow motion. But there is no mistaking the brown, overly styled hair that belongs to Kailua. She doesn't break the eye contact off as the door hits the wall with a loud thud. Unlike my reaction, I jump back like a gun just went off in front of me and my eyes go to the door and back to Kailua.

"What a pleasant surprise," she says with a fake tone, "did you miss me, hun?" Her smile is a little too sweet as she steps through the door and stands right in front of me.

She takes a look around the room with a surprised smirk.

"Did you have to make such giant a mess." she complains, still smiling, her eyes scanning the room.

She takes a step back from me and she struts to the counters in the room like a model on a stage.

"Now, I bet you have tons of questions. And you will eventually get the answers to all of them, but in gonna start with one of my own," she stares me dead in the eyes and asks, "where is Andrea?"

A shiver runs down my spine. She is acting like a completely different person then the Kailua that she is when other people are around. And not in a good way.

A stuttering voice surprises me.

"Ya, th-that wo-would b-be g-great to k-know." Jaclyn's unsteady voice whispers out to Kailua.

A booming laugh comes from the middle of the room. My eyes return to Kailua, where the strange laughter is coming from. To my surprise I see Kailua, holding her stomach as she hoots and holars at Jaclyn's statement.

Jaclyn's face turns a bright red in embarrassment and she quickly looks away.

Kailua's laughter slowly stops when she sees Jaclyn's reaction and another sickly sweet smile appears on her face.

"Oh honey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you i-it's j-just th-that y-you-" her own laughter cuts off her sentence as she imitates Jaclyn's stuttering.

I finally snap out of my daze and decide she needs to stop mocking Jaclyn and help us.

"Just shut up and tell us where she is." I snap.

Her laughter stops immediately when she hears me. Her head snaps so fast towards me I'm surprised it didn't snap and a scowl forms on her face.

" 'Scuse me?" She asks, with as much annoyance that can be in two words.

I lift my head high, and try to stay strong. Though I'm feeling the total opposite.

"You heard me, where is she." I say with as much confidence as I can muster.

She manages a fake laugh and stares at me. Weird.

"I don't know," She grins and gives me a thumbs up, "I'm on your side. I found a little hatch and opened it. There was a ladder and a room just like this, and the lights cut off then came back on then I heard you freaking out about Andrea so I saw a door, came in and you know the rest."

I stare at her, confused.

Then why is she acting all high and mighty when she's in the same situation as I am?

"Then why did you act like that?" I ask.

"I thought it would be fun to tease you." She says through a teasing smile.

"Alright..."

We stand in an awkward silence for a while before someone breaks it by clearing their throat.

"So the door is open..." Jaclyn anxiously questions.

Realization washes over me like a bucket of cold water.

"Let's get out of here." I say quickly.

I'm so tired, it must have been 9 hours since we've last eaten. All this action is exhausting me.

"Just to let you know girls," Kailua says pointing at the door, "this boat isn't as perfect as it may seem."

And with that, she steps over to the door and pulls it open. Her right hand motions us over as she disappears through the doorway.

"Let's go." Kailua calls out, her high pitch voice echoes throughout the room.

I cautiously take a step foreword exited, yet scared to leave this room. It feels weird to leave, even though I am anxious to get out and find Andrea before something bad happens to her.

I force my legs to move across the room and I'm right in front of the doorway. And immediately I start hearing them.

I can hear the loud cries for help. I force myself not to cry as I hear their pleas.

"I didn't kill him!"

"Its not my fault!"

"I'm not crazy!"

"Help!"

"Please! Help me!"

The next one chills me too the core,

"I'm not a lytho!"

This is the place where they keep the crazy people, the lytho's.

The people who kill for pleasure. The people who hurt you physically and mentally.

Though I'd hardly call them people...

"I can smell you." A voice says through the darkness.

And I am sure that nothing is more scarier than hearing a lytho that you can't see.

"I can smell the sweet blood on you."
