Eyes and First Times

Deans POV

        I walk in the kitchen and sit down at the table next to Mariah. "Afternoon my dear," I said while fixing the cuff on my suit. "Dad, what's with the suit? Going somewhere?" she questioned while I smiled in her direction. "Date, with Castiel, at 7, I'm picking him up," I said before kissing her forehead and walking out the door. I was so nervous. This was the first date I have ever had with a guy. Totally calling Sam after this.

        On the way to Castiel's house I wondered what he would be like in real life, if he would be like the online man I had spoken to. I thought about the way his eyes looked in the profile picture. So many thoughts filled my brain so I just turned up the radio. AC/DC blasts through the speakers as I drive down the road.

        I get closer to Castiel's house and my anxiety builds. I suddenly see the beautiful man walking out the door. I was almost there. So close to what I wanted. What I needed.  I feel my heart rate slow down as I see him. As if he were some calming mechanism to me. I need him. You know how you feel when you walk around your crush and you feel like you have to be the most perfect human for them, I didn't feel this with Castiel. Looking at him was probably the best thing I've ever done in my entire life.

        I park the impala in the drive of his house. I step out of the vehicle and walk up to him. "Hello, Castiel," I said while looking in the eyes of this man. The eyes you could swim in.  They were the same as the picture. Nothing about him was different. He was the man I spoke to all the times before. "Hello, Dean. Shall we go? Don't want to be late do we?" he spoke in the most stern deep voice I've ever heard. A wave of feeling washed over me. Feelings I had never truly felt before. I walked over to him, grabbed his hand, and directed him to the passenger seat of the impala.

        I pulled out of the drive and took off down the street. "Dean, you're lovely," Castiel spoke suddenly almost tripping over his words. "Thank you Cas, can I call you Cas?" I asked. "Well most people do, so whatever you would like," he replied. He reached over and grabbed my hand. We sat like this until we got to the restaurant. "Dean?" "Yes Cas?" "I think I love you. I know we're not really even dating yet but I just-" I cut him off with a kiss. "I love you too Cas."

        I never had a boyfriend before Castiel, but I'm glad he's my first.
