Juliette and the SIX SIX SIX

The Deal Chapter 1

Juliette Arcadia was only 17. As much as she hated her life and everything in it, she wished to never die. The night she snuck out of her house at 3 am with her 4 friends was when it happened.
"What time did you want us to pick you up?" - Irene
"2:45 no later"- Juliette
"Okay I can't wait!" - Irene
She grabbed her candles and put them in her black side bag. She heard her phone ring and out the window she went.
"How exactly is this gonna do down?" - Juliette
"Easy. We set the candles on each corner of the pentagram were gonna draw with the sand. Then at 3 exactly we start the ritual" - Jade
"So we all know what we're doing?" - Juliette
"Yup we all have a part. So be prepared" - Jade
She was nervous. She didn't want to just live forever. What she wanted was to have everything she didn't have now. The perfect appearance, the perfect family, being able to get whatever it was she asked for... Whatever she says goes, to have control over everyone and everything.
"Juliette it's your turn" -Sarah
She gulped and took a deep breathe
She chanted her spell the exact way she rehearsed it.
"Dear dark lord, I Juliette Arcadia, have come to request thee for your presence. I would like to make a deal with thigh great one. I will give you two souls, and part of me in exchange for immortal life, your power over beings and control what I ask and the ability to be beautiful...."
She put a part of her inside the wine and drank. That was it. Her request was sent and now all she needed was to wait for a sign.
"Juliette! We're having this party after school, do you want to come?" - Austin
"Sure! Pick me up at my house?"- Juliette
"Yeah be ready by 8" - Austin
It wasn't unusual for her to be invited to events, but what was rather peculiar was the tenseness in Austin's voice.
By 8 she was ready and waiting. She looked at herself in the mirror constantly. She admired her long bell sleeved dress that screamed "witch" all over it. Her dark eye make up made her reddish brown eyes pop. Her long black hair touched her waist, making the red streaks stand out. She was beautiful. Everyone knew that. They all whispered it as they passed by her in the halls at school. She touched her chest and squeezed. No, she wasn't beautiful like they all said, because she lacked breasts. She took a long sigh and heard a car horn outside.

The party
Chapter 2
Do you miss Luke?" - Dominik
"A lot. But I know he doesn't feel the same way anymore" - Juliette
"You'll find someone else Jules" - Leon
He patted her thigh. She had her eyes on him. Across the room was the boy she dated for over a year. She loved him so much. How could he let her go so easily? Flashbacks from the day it happened. It made her eyes water.
"Hey I know what'll make you feel better!" - Ariane
She took her hand and introduced her to this tall, pale boy. His dirty blonde hair covered his forehead and it shined in the lights of the party.
"Hey Marshall, this is Juliette. She's single and Is looking for a new friend. How about it?" - Ariane
"Sure, I love those eyes" - Marshall
"Thank you" - Juliette
She blushed.
"Well I'll leave you two kids talk" -Ariane
She skipped back to the others. Juliette looked at him with huge eyes. She didn't feel ready and certainly not better.
"So you go to New Moon high right?"- Marshall
"I do I'm a junior" - Juliette
"I knew it! I knew you looked so familiar. I recognize that teased hair anywhere"
She felt her hair
"Yeah I don't really know what else to do with it" she said laughing.
"It looks sick! I love it"
"Thanks" she giggled.
"No problem. You know, my friends and I are going to this lake up in the mountains later do you wanna come?" - Marshall
"Sure! I'd love to"
She smiled
"Cool so I'll ask Austin if there's room for one more. You're pretty cute I'm sure he'll say yes" he winked.
"Great!" She blushed and he walked away.
20 minutes later,She heard Marshall call out to her. They must be leaving already. She went outside and saw Marshal calling out to her from the back of a black truck. When she got in, she noticed 3 boys and 3 girls whom she knew but was never really friends with. She sat uncomfortably in the middle seat while they talked to her and each other.
"Oh my god, the river during this season time is always so warm, I guess it's cause of the cool whether" - Joyce
The fact that this pretty,silver haired, blue eyed girl was talking to her made her feel less nervous. Though Juliette tuned out most of the words coming out of Joyce's mouth, she couldn't help hear a peculiar tone her voice too. The more she thought about it the more she noticed it in Marshall's voice too.
"We're going in the water?" - Juliette
"Yeah sure you can say that" - Alexa said sarcastically, butting in between them from the back seat. She sounded peculiar too. She felt more uncomfortable now. They arrived and parked on the dirt road. One by one they each stepped out.
"Did you bring the backpack?" Johnny whispered to Alexa. "Yeah I remembered everything we needed" she whispered back. Juliette looked over to the dark, greaser haired boy talking to the short, pin up haired girl. "Sssshhh she'll hear you!" Johnny said to Alexa. Austin called to her attention.
"You comin?" She jerked her head forward.
"Yeah" she continued walking, leaving the boy and girl behind. The smell of the freshly watered trees made her almost feel at ease.
"Are you alright?" - Marshall
"Yeah I'm totally fine" - Juliette
She lied. She felt she should have stayed at the party. After all, it was Austin's party. She tried her best to keep up with the group but the croaking of the crows made her feel uneasy. They stopped at a small area of fallen trees by the river. She felt like it had been arranged in a circle with one tee in the middle. Each person sat down on a fallen tree.
"Please tell me someone brought the candles" - Ashton the pale faced, brown eyes and haired boy.
"Ugh would I ever let you down" -Alexa
"Candles for what?" - Juliette
Everyone looked at each other
"Ummm, for light of course!" -Joyce
Her voice sounding like she's told a thousand lies.
"Come take a walk with me" - Marshall
He put his arm around her and let her away from the group.
He started talking.
"So you're like really pretty you know that? You're single right?"
"Unfortunately yes" she sighed
They continued to walk farther and farther. He stopped walking then stepped in front of her.
"So you're single, I'm single, you're insanely pretty and I'm pretty sure you think I'm cute too, am I right?"- Marshall
"Yeah I do. So what?"
He got closer to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and leaning in. Her heart started pounding. She leaned in and they shared a kiss. He stroked her back, lightly pulling up her dress. Soon they were both naked, kissing each other's neck. Suddenly, she felt something snap on her wrists
"What are you doing?" - Juliette
"Don't worry, this is for a good cause."
She screamed for him to let her go. He didn't. He had handcuffed her hands behind her back and proceeded to push her forward. She continued screaming for him to let her go. All it did was echo down the mountain. They got back to the group. There had been left red stick candles on stumps and the tree that had been left in the middle was standing. Everyone was now in long black cloaks and starred her down. This was a set up.
"What the hell is this?" She yelled.
