Beautiful Liar

Kamelle Griggs had just received the keys to her new apartment, as a graduation gift at Dale Brook High, which wasn't too far from her Aunt's house. With the good paying job she has, Aunt Rose was able to purchase everything Kamelle needed such as furniture, appliances and even milk and eggs. Now whatever else Kamelle wanted , she had to get on her own, but that was fine by Kamelle.

Kamelle happily thrown herself onto her couch dropping her suitcase to the ground in the process.

"You must be my new neighbor." Kamelle heard a tinner voice say not to far from where she was. Kamelle forgot all about the front door she left open. She'd risen and stood before a chocolate male who must have been around her age. His juicy lips gave Kamelle a tingle and made her stutter.

"Uh uh. Um, I - I . Uh, come in." She was finally able to say. The young man crossed the threshold into her home and got the comfort of the place.

"Nice place ya got here. Looks a lot similar to mine." He says creeping Kamelle out a bit, but she liked it. The guy turned to face her and smiled at her expression. "Excuse me ma, how rude of me ? I'm Eric," he smiled and Kamelle could've sworn her underwear were drenched, "what ya name ?"

"Ka-," then she thought about her last relationship and all the bull she just escaped from in high school. But Eric seemed different; but then again not everything is what it seems. "I'm sorry but I don't know you to be giving out my name like that."

"I don't know you either," he stepped a foot closer, "but that's the thing. I wanna get to know you." He says , lips not too far from hers. "Just know maw, I'm two doors down on the left." He winked then went for the door. "See you around baby." The guy grinned revealing his bottom row of golds, but who knows if they're real or not ? He knows, Kamelle thought.

After that weird moment passed by, Kamelle unpacked all her clothes and things into her drawers and closets and dressers. Moments later, Kamelle sat down in front of her wide screen television and placed in one of her all time favorite movies. She'd popped some popcorn and made some cool aid. Then she realized she didn't wanna spend her first night at her new apartment alone, so she called the only person who would still be up at 1:30a.m

"Kamel Toe !"

"Shut up Kendrick."

"How's ya new home ?"

" Great. Are you busy?"

"Why else would I be up at 1:37 in the morning?"

"To resist going to sleep. You know, you the only person I know who doesn't like his sleep ?"

"You called me to talk me ear off or ... ?"

"You should come over."

"Awwwn. She misses her baby brubba already." Kendrick says mocking a baby voice into Kamelle's ear.
