Who would've imagined, 15 year old Kendrick Griggs would be lying in a closed casket with no one able to see his disformed body. Just the fact that her little brother was the dude in the casket up front brought so much pain to Kamelle. How could she ever live through this ?

She felt an arm on her shoulder which caused her to turn around. She looked up and saw the face of someone she thought she'd never see again.

"Daddy.." She sobbed and threw herself into a hug with her father.

No words were spoke, just a moment of love and reconnection. She heard sniffling nearby and witnessed her mother with a tissue up to her nose.

"Mauuuummyyyyy.." She cried even harder and embraced her mother. "I'm so sorry for abandoning you two. And everything I said, I, I was just so angry. Because I was being greedy and the word more was my day maker."

"Its okay Princess." Richard Griggs, father of Kamelle and Kendrick Griggs. "We said some things we shouldn't have either."

"How could you let this happen to my baby boy!" Kendra Wallis-Griggs mellowed out.

"Huh?" Kamelle looked back and forth from Kendra and Richard.

"Don't mind your mother. She's as upset about the death as the rest of us.

"And more!" Kendra shouted. "If you wouldn't had snuck out with my ungrateful sister for her money she wouldn't have tried to made me look like the peasant she made of me, by bribing you with that apartment in the hood! And then my baby wouldn't have been murdered in your house! Speaking of your house, how come you weren't home? Where the hell were you Kamelle?"

"I went out to breakfast with one of my neighbors!" Kamelle fought back with loud words.

"Ha, slut. I bet you gave him the box, too." Kendra laughed.

"You think what happened to me is funny ? I was raped! I didn't give myself to Darius! & plus, Eric is a pretty nice guy, but I'm not just f*cking anyone's son!"

"Liar. He probably set the whole thing up! I bet you he's a drop out and dope dealer! Aint he?! And he gave you some cheap story he probably read in Jet magazine."

"Daddy? Why didn't you divorce her yet!?" The scene they caused was 100% acknowledged and the pastor was making his way over.

"Um, I did. Last week." Richard tried looking away 'cause he knew Kendra was still upset about the divorce.

"Excuse me. There are more people than just you guys here. Let's settle this in some prayer."

Kamelle was all in for a little prayer. As well as Richard. Kendra was stubborn enough to scoff and stomp up to the casket and lay on it to cry. Then without hesitation she opened the casket and almost fainted at the sight.

"Where's my baby !? Where is my baby ?!"

Kamelle, followed by Richard and the pastor ran up to the casket only to see what Kendra was crying about. Up here sat an empty casket with no type of note of where the body might be or anything.

Kamelle kicked off her heels at the foot of her door and swung off her coat. Her head spun of the argument between her mother and the multiple questions detectives and officers had asked her.

What is becoming of her world? Had everything become just a joke now?

Kamelle felt a nervous feeling as she laid back on her couch. Right where she laid her feet, the body of her mysteriously lost brother was at. She just looked at the spot remembering the awkwardness of feeling the warm blood in her hands.
