L sighed as he stared at his computer screen. He was so close to finding Kira and he knew it. He just needed a bit more. It was going to be a long night.
~L's P.O.V~
This night sucked. I was getting nowhere and I was out of ice cream. *sigh*
"Watari."
"Yes?"
"Invite Light over. He should still be awake."
"Yes." He logged off and made the call to Light. I still suspected him, but at least I knew I could trust him. At least enough to call him my friend.
Although I wasn't sure if friends were supposed to have the odd feelings I do. They're sort of similar to Misa's, but not crazy. I hope I'll get over them, just in case he is Kira. Though it might be difficult.
I need more sweets. I think I'm getting depressed from lack of it.
