Your POV

It was the middle of summer and you where on your way to do what you loved best, swimming. You loved the water, you where practically a mermaid. At least that's what everyone ho knew you said. There was only one problem with loving to swim. Your self image. You didn't like to swim in pools or I front of other people because you where afraid that someone would judge you. So, as usual, you where on the less popular side of the beach where no one could see you unless they were there as well. Once you reached the beach you made sure your (Fav Color) swimsuit was covered and looked to make sure no one saw you. Once you had made sure no one saw you, you made your way behind the rocks and over to your private beach. You set your stuff down by some rocks and started walking. As you passed some taller rocks you saw someone else's things and looked toward the ocean. You saw nothing for a moment then saw a bushel of red appear from the water. The head dove back under the water and you watched the person swim for a while. As you where watching he turned around and started swimming back to shore. You frantically tried to think of something. You started walking back to your things as you heard the slash of someone leaving the water.

"Yo! What are you doing here?!" You turned.

"I came to swim but your here so ill e leaving now!" You started walking again but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back.

"Why are you leaving? Just swim, it's a big ocean. You don't have to swim by me." You tried to shake his hand off but you failed so you sighed.

"It's not that I don't want to swim with you it's that your here at all. I can't swim in front of other people." He loosened his grip.

"Why not?"

"Look at me. Im fat and ugly. No one wants to see me in a swim suit, let alone wet and swimming."

"I think that's stupid. If you want to swim you should just swim and not care what others say. Come on, swim with me." He pulled you towards the water as you gapped at him.

'This guy......he's really nice....its refreshing.'

"The water is nice today." You looked at him and smiled.

"Yah it is." You started running and dove under the waves an started swimming. When you came back up he smiled at you.

"Your a great swimmer." You blushed.

"Thank you! No one has ever complimented me on it...." The two of you swam until the sun set.

"Well I guess it's time to leave. Ill see you again." You smiled at him as he started walking.

"Oh wait!!! Whats your name?!"

"I'm Rin. You?"

"I'm (Y/N). it's was nice meeting you Rin."

"Nice to meet you too (Y/N). Bye."
