It has been six months since Lucas brought upon the Military Base. Since then, he has beaten profusely almost all the time. But he played nice with them the whole way through. This granted him some weeks without torture and humiliation. He also learned some names and faces: the blonde haired man turned out to be Alexander's second-in-command called Jonathon and the brown haired man is the main torturer on the other captured civilians called Robert. The meals have been poor, but any food at the moment, considering the circumstances, is great.

Lucas' face has been badly damaged and the evidence is quite clear on his face. He hadn't expected less after his first day, neither did he expect to be forced in this situation at all. This is the day he wishes to escape on. After those long six months, he has finally pieced some information together to sell to the Rebels. The Rebels do deserve to win after their five-year war against the Military.

It's an easy year for Lucas to remember. The same year that he made the pact with his friends. The year that had the number 23 in. Two years after the Military strike against the world. Five years after the Queen's death and three years after the Government take control of the world under one man: John.

Lucas embarks on his mission to leave. He sits on the wooden chair in his torture room and awaits for one of the torturers, namely Robert-the-brown-hair. After some several minutes of silence, Robert enters the room. Lucas' heart sinks, still fearing what can happen. They might be bored with him one day and just take his life without a second thought. Lucas has known many others that were captured in his time here, and most of them are dead for said reason.

"Alright?" Robert asks, with a slight sadistic sound to it.

"Considering the circumstances, not really. But I am well, thank you for asking," Lucas replies. "As a matter of fact, I actually need to piss. You don't mind me going rogue for a bit, do you?" His plan starting.

"Sure, go on then," Robert says and unites his rope around his hands and ankles. Lucas stands up and looks at him for a while. 'The last time we will see life in his eyes,' Lucas says in his head.

Lucas pushes Robert and trips him up against the wall. Lucas rapidly goes for Robert's knife and puts it against his neck. Close to his jugular vein. "Which way's the exit, again?" Lucas questions, never having seen the way out.

"Down the corridor, take a left, and then... yeah, like I'd fucking tell you, you twat!" Robert jokes and smiles at Lucas. Lucas cuts his throat and stabs him in the chest and body repeatedly. It's the first time he's ever killed somebody.

The blood sprays all across the wall and Lucas. The rest dribbles down Robert and on to the floor, creating a dark red puddle.

Lucas leaves Robert's corpse, slightly petrified by himself, but rushed with adrenaline to leave. He tries and makes his way out, hearing the screams of other innocents being tortured. Those were the screams that stayed in his head each night.

Covered in blood, Lucas finds an exit after wandering around aimlessly. Once outside, he feels the sunlight once again, after the long six months. A soldier comes walking by with an M-16. Lucas rushes around to a corner. He did recognise the guard. He'd seen him around before.

As the guard comes around the corner, Lucas trips him up, causing him to fall to the ground. He uses Robert's knife to stab him in the back of the neck. He then picks up the soldier's firearm, in case it may be needed.

Not being used to becoming a killer, Lucas still manages to fight his through to the fences. He knew this was going to be the trickiest part of his escape, although he has made this far with only having to have killed two men. He goes to one of the watch towers and looks up to see if there's any guards there at the moment.

After a longingly painful stare into the bright sky, he cannot make out any silhouettes of any figures. He takes the moment to walk in, knowing the code; a soldier asks Robert everyday in his torture room what the new code is. The day of Lucas' escape's code is 8236. A four-numbered code is never hard to remember. Lucas enters the code on the locked door, and opens the iron thing with a hard push.

Lucas then enters the code for the next metal door for the other side. The side that leaves him the most vulnerable. The side that exposes him the most. For the door exits out to an empty field. He pushes the strong, bolted door and leaves the Military Base for good. Hoping never to return to that dreadful place again.

Once it is open, Lucas runs as fast as he can, and he can run exceptionally fast. Not caring if someone sees him now. It doesn't matter anymore. They don't matter anymore. All that matters is returning home. To a home where he is loved by all. To a home where he loves all.

He drops the M-16 on the ground. He doesn't want to be accused of being in the army, nor would he want to be taken for not having a licence for it.

He leaves all memories of those long six months in his past, he returns home anew...
