The five girls entered the same school, with the same brick walls and smell as last year. The halls were stuffed with people and two pairs of the girls went down the separate hallways, leaving one girl to walk alone. She walks alone to her locker and opens it, "23-74-65" she whispers under her breath.
One pair of girls, Joey and Sondra had gone down one hallway, they all had new lockers, away from each other. Sondra, being the shyest of the group, quietly walks to her locker and opens it, looking around. To her right, a boy with glasses, a hat, and cardigan, is struggling to open his locker. She turns to him and asks if she can help. "Yeah." He said quietly, blushing. "What's your combo?" She replies. "29-37-18" she puts in the combo and it opens. "Thanks" he says shyly. "No problem"
She goes back to taking her stuff out of her locker.
As the sound of lockers slamming echo the long hallway, Joey grabs the last of her papers, stuffing them in her arms. Pushing the rest of the clutter back, she slams the locker and checks the time 7:26 it reads. 'Crap!' She mentally cusses herself. She had promised Sondra they would walk together. Joey runs back it Sondra's locker and sees her helping another kid with his locker. She slows her pace, taking her time walking. Sondra grabs her stuff and walks briskly toward her.
"We're going to be late! Why are you walking so slow?"
"Sorry, who was that kid you were talking to?"
"Said his name was Alex." They quicken their pace and barley make it to their fist class on time.

Back on the other side of the school,
Kayanna and Maddy don't split as their lockers are super close. Two locker in Brewer them. Two boys are standing there, both with curly, fluffy hair. Kayanna and Maddy giggled and went around the two boys. They were arguing about who's hair was better. The talker of the two turned to Kayanna, "who's hair so better?" He asks. "I'd have to say yours." He pumped his fist. "Thanks" they turned to Maddy, she replied the other guys. They got their stuff from their lockers and met back up.
"Weird encounter with those guys back there, right?"
"Yeah." The two of them hussled off to their classes.

Now Allie didn't really fit in with her friends. She had always been the weirdo. She walked to her locker, passing jocks, typical white girls, drama kids, goths, musical prodigies, band kids, and finally what she wanted to see: the ones who didn't fit in, just like her. She smiled as found her place at her locker. She un-zipped her backpack and opened her locker, inside was a note: We were overstuffed on lockers, you will be sharing a locker. 'Aw, crap' she thought. She puts the rest of her things away when she feels a hand on her shoulder, she turns around, the note in her hand. A boy, looking a lot like her stood there. She forced the note at him.
