Draco bottled the rest of the potion, needing the doses for when the first would wear off. As he walked back to his room he felt as if he was an outsider, experiencing the halls in a new light, a cold light. It wasn't long before he saw Gwyneth walking down the halls alone, her new house robes labeling her as a traitor. As he passed by she nodded in way of a greeting. He glided by not even glancing at her. Once he arrived back at the common room, he proceeded to tear down any first year that looked at him. Before long Crabbe and Goyle forgot all about the way he was acting before. His classes passed in usual boredom, the only enjoyment coming from a wrong answer from another student. As the month drew to an end his mood grew worse. It started when he passed Gwyneth on his way to quidditch practice. She had tied her hair up diffrently, and before long he found himself thinking about how beautiful it made her look. He quickly frowned and took an extra dose of his potion as quickly as he could. During practice his head began to feel fuzzy, and every move he made was slightly off. When he walked back to his dorm, he staggered around like a clown on parade. When he had finally reached his room he felt the change. His chest began to hurt as his vision swam with black spots. He clenched his teeth as he fell to the floor and began to have a fit. It was over in a minute, but that minute felt like an eternity. When he finally stood up he felt panic flood his system. He was too tired to reach for a flask of potion so he laid on his bed. Things did not improve from then on. The following passes by with five more incidents. He was walking back to his dorm in a deserted hall when he heard someone rounding the corner. Gwyneth walked out and was about to run into him. He stepped aside and glowered at her. "Watch where you're going." She sighed replying, "Draco I'm sorry. Whats wrong you haven't been you lately." He was about to reply when the black spots returned. He felt his body sway and collapse. This time there was no seizure, only blood pounding in his ears as he lost all feeling and blacked out completely.
