I'd say that day changed my life forever. I don't think Eren knows that what he did was what I had wanted since the day I laid my eyes on him. Maybe he does. He smiles at me every time we pass each other in the hallway but I usually just blush and avoid his gaze.

Probably not the best thing to do in that situation, I know, but I'm not really used to this whole "love" thing.

A few days after our little lip-lock, Eren and I have training. I sigh as I wait for the brat to arrive. This oughta be interesting. Eren walks in a little later. He freezes when he sees me by the door.

"Oh. Sorry. Have you been waiting?"

"Well yeah. Training started twenty minutes ago." I snap, immediately regretting it. He looks at his feet.

"I'm sorry, sir." He says quietly.

I sigh. "It's alright. I didn't mean to snap at you," I reply, walking into the private training room. He follows me, closing the door behind him. I turn around and get in a fighting stance. He mimics my position and his leg shoots out. I grab his foot before it hits me. I can see the panic in his eyes before I flip him over. He lands on the ground with a thud.

"Was that necessary, sir?" He sits up and rubs his back.

"Just because you act like a child, doesn't mean that I'm going to treat you like one." I say, holding out my hand to help him up. He takes it and stands. I let go just before his knee connects with my stomach, making me stumble backwards. His foot swings out again and hits my side before I have time to recover and I fall over. I glare up at him.

"Really, Jaeger? Did I have to end up on the floor?"

"No, sir." He says, holding out his hand for me. I take it and try to stand but instead, Eren falls on top of me. He catches himself before hitting my face and braces his hands on either side of my head. We stare at each other for a moment, lost in each other's eyes, before his face turns red. He gets off of me and stands up. I get to my feet as well.

"S-sorry sir... I-I didn't mean to-" He stutters nervously, studying the floorboards.

"Jaeger." I cut him off, trying to make eye contact. "It's okay." He looks at me and I fail to hold back a smile. He gives me his usual cute smile and my heart practically melts. I shake my head slightly. "You need to focus on training, not the floor." He nods and turns to me. He throws a punch but I twist his wrist and kick him in the chest, sending him backwards. I roll my eyes.

"Seriously?" I say, walking over to him. "I told you to focus and you're on the floor again." He rubs the back of his head. "Get up."

"I don't think I can, sir."

"What do you mean by, 'I don't think I can'?" I ask.

"My ankle, sir. I twisted it on the way down. It hurts a lot." I sigh and kneel next to him.

"Would you like me to help you back to your room?" He nods silently. I put my arm around his waist and help him to his feet. He tenses. From my arm around him or the pain, I'm not sure. He puts his arm around my shoulders and sort of leans against me. I don't really mind being this close to Eren, but he's heavy as hell and I'm tiny as hell. I don't know how we do it, but somehow, we make it to his room. We sit about a foot apart on his bed. I see his hand on the bed and gently put my hand on top of it. He glances over at me.

"C-Captain...?"

"I'm sorry." I say quietly, my gaze fixed on the floor. "I didn't mean to hurt you in training. I shouldn't've-"

"It's okay, sir." He smiles and I look up at his face. His green eyes are focused on me. There's something different about them, though. Some emotion in them that I just can't place. He looks away shyly. "Captain...?"
