I read the text that I just got one more time and hissed "Drive safe Steve" I told him"And you, don't give too much trouble okay baby" I kisses Lance cheeks and he giggles as he nod

"Steve what time is his father flight landing?" I asked blocking out the sun ray from my face as we stood in my drive way

"At twelve but he requested that I take Lance to the airport" he told me

"Alright then drive safe, bye Lance" I waves at him and he waves back smiling. I watch as Steve pulled outta my drive way then I got into my G wagon.

I tapped my fingers on my steering wheel as I wait in the underground parking lot for Garfield

"Another minute then I'm gone" I hissed and check my hublot rosegold watch then my phone went off alerting me that I got a message. I read it then he came and opened the passenger door of my car and jumped in"Sup ma" he removes the hoodie from his head

"Hey" I said nonchalantly and looked away

"How are you?" He asked turning in the passenger seat staring at me

"Been blessed but I wanna know why you called?" I hissed looking at him in disgust

"Been hearing a lot of shit going on from you having an abortion, you and yo nigga fighting over baby Lance and since I'm in LA I thought I should meet up with you"

"Yeah I had an abortion so what?" I rolled my eyes"no one have a say in this"

He hesitated "Was it mines?" He gave me his full attention

I stared at him "No" I lied and looked away

"I know it was mines Leah or else you wouldn't have done that" he took my hand in his then kisses the top of it

"I had to do it Garfield and as much as it hurt I've already done it and I'm sorry" I bats my lashes trying to dry them and trying my best not to cry

"It was a hard one to swallow but it is what is it, I wouldn't want to spoil your reputation but at the end of the day that would be our child, but things had already happened and we both moving forward"

"Thank you for understanding but I'll live with this forever" he wiped my tears with his thumb

"It will forever be on my mind but things happened we can't change what is already done, so don't even cry about it" he leans over and hugged me

"I'm trying" I fans my face "What's going with you,what are you doing in LA?" I tried to change the subject

"Gotta few work out here and me and Lisa got back together"

"Really, wow" I was taken back "how is that working out?"

"After seeing that I can't get no where with you Leah you would never love me, your heart belongs to Malcolm your heart wasn't connecting with me it doesn't matter how hard I tried, After the last time I saw you I went home and decided that I want my family together"

I nod "your absolutely right, but do you ever feel like I'm the cause of y'all getting an divorce?"

"Hell no we had our problems from day one you actually saved me and kept my mind sane" he leans back on the headrest

"We all have our problems, well congrats to y'all" I said nonchalantly

He stared at me making me feel uncomfortable "Leah I'm sorry how things ended up with us from me sneaking around with you, coming to yo crib, getting you pregnant was not what I wanted but it already happened and I'm not asking to be friends cause we may never know how we might end up, I'm walking outta yo life for good it's what's best for us" he held onto my hand
