I ran, as fast as I could. Adrenaline pumping through my veins.
I ran towards the good side of town and then stopped. They'd find me. This part of the town was the first place where they'd look for me. I did not want that.
So, I turned towards a narrow alley and started running. I did not know where I was heading but I knew they wouldn't find me so easily here.
Bam!
I immediately stopped in my tracks. I looked around for the source of the sound.
I turned my head to the right and saw. I saw
Cole?
What? What was he doing here.
Cole Evans, the most saught after boy at school. Mr. Popular.
I hid behind a pillar and watched the scene in front of me.
Cole was punching a boy. A boy I did not recognize. "Sir, please I'm t- telling yo- you the truth" the boy pleaded on his knees.
"Shut up!" Cole yelled at his face while grabbing his neck and lifting him up.
Wow, someone was well fed during his childhood. I thought as he lifted the boy.
"Can't fucking trust anyone!" Cole yelled again, making the boy wimper. The boy was fighting for his life, he was clawing at Cole's hand. A desperate effort. I wanted to stop Cole but I did not want to be the next one clawing at Cole's hand.
But before I could even get out of there, someone from behind pulled me roughly causing me to let out a scream. I didn't know who it was. I did not want to.
Cole's head snapped towards me, his eyes sending a hateful glare towards me. ouch. If looks could kill I'd be dead now.
I still couldn't see who was holding me from behind but I bet he knew Cole.
The unknown guy roughly pushed me towards Cole. Thankfully, Cole had dropped the boy who scrambled away at the chance.
Great. I gulped.
I was beyond terrified.
Shit Shit Shit oh God no
Cole started walking towards me. With each step I could feel danger and death radiate off of him. I wanted to run. So bad. But I was frozen. I probably looked like a crazed woman with my eyes wide and mouth hanging.
I was terrified. Is he gonna kill me?
I could feel something sliding down my cheeks. It was only then I realized I was crying.
He knelt before me, still glaring.
"I know you saw what you did" he said, coldly. Each word sending a chill down my spine."Bring her"
