Chapter 24~ Memories

I finally woke up. I looked around and saw that I was chained up, in a bright room with one shadow standing over me.

"Ah finally awake. It's a shame you can't see me since your violet eyes are so sensitive." My eyes widened as recognized this voice. It was him...

I laughed as he tagged me. "You're it!" I took in a deep breath and started running after him again. We both tripped onto the green grass and laughed. He looked at me and bit his lip.

"What's wrong?" I asked him scooting closer.

"M-Melissa... There's something I want to tell you something..." I looked him in the eyes and smiled.

"You can tell me anything, Ryan." I reassured him. He smiled back.

"I-I... I love you Melissa..." I giggled, hugging him.

"I love you too Ryan..." I muttered. He hugged back, his face red.

"RYAN!" We heard his mom shout. He broke away the hug and looked me in the eyes.

"See you later, Mel." I waved at him and watched him run towards his house. I let myself fall onto the grass. At that moment I knew something was wrong, something terribly wrong. I sat up and the next thing I knew, everything was dark.

"R-Ryan?" I yelled my heart beating faster than it should.

"I'd prefer the name Double." I was on the verge of tears, Why isn't he helping me? "Awww is Melissa sad?" A tear left my eye as I turned away from him, Why did he have to leave me that night?!

"W-What happened to you?" I managed to say, wiping my tears off. "Why are you with Martin?" He laughed and shook his head.

"That's for you to figure out" I clenched my fists ready to punch him. I had mixed emotions for this situation. I wanted to hug him and at the same time choke him.

Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my neck. I bit my lip to hold in yells. I looked up at Double who was smirking down at me, his hand pressing something on the wall. "See you later, Mel." With that his hand left the wall and the pain stopped. I looked up at him, anger in my eyes.

"Fuck you too, Ryan." He laughed and left the room. I heard it lock and there I was alone, again.

I woke up, hearing my door unlock. I looked up to see someone in a dark purple hoodie walking up to me hesitantly.

"Seto? What are you-" He cut me off by putting his hand on my mouth.

"I-I want to show you something." He whispered. I nodded and he let go of my mouth. He kneeled down to my level and closed his eyes. His hands lit up with a sparkling purple colour as he chanted some foreign words and soon the purple glow travelled down to the chains. Suddenly, I felt my wrists lighten as I noticed that the chains disappeared.

I slowly stood up, my legs wobbling from underusement. "Where did you learn this?" I asked him while rubbing my sore wrists.

He bit his lip and looked down. "M-Martin taught me... He calls me his student." I was quite surprized. Since when does Bodil know anything about magic? "I-I'll explain later... Now follow me." Seto stood up and walked towards the door, me following along.

We walked down a dim hallway, and up some stairs. As soon as we got to the top I felt tears fall down my face. Lockers were put against the walls, named classroom set in a row, old posters for a talent show were hung in random places. "I-Internet middle school?" I asked walking around. Seto smiled and nodded.

"Remember our tumblr classes on feminism or the fangirl science classes?" I lightly laughed and nodded. "Those were the times..." He mumbled. I walked around until I saw what I wanted.

"The youtube classroom..." I muttered, touching the smooth sign on the door. I heard Seto chuckle.

"You still remember our classroom?" I nodded and slowly opened the door, to be met with an extremely strange feeling going through my chest. "Now that's a face I haven't seen in awhile..." I heard Seto say quietly. I looked at him confused about what he means. "Yeah.... That's sorta a story for later..." He said, adding an obviously nervous laugh. "Anyway. The thing I wanted to show you..." He  fully opened the door to the classroom and turned on the lights.
