Chapter 21~ Scared

~Kelsi's POV~

Since when does a beam of light come from the sky?! Suddenly, a high pitched sound was flooding my ears until suddenly it stopped, as well as the beam of light.

Kayla started growling, until I finally noticed- 3 human-like figures emerged from the fog. One of them being quite familiar, but still not recognizable. They didn't notice us, as we hid behind some trees, but they sure were heading our way.

Cupcake pointed up the tree and I understood. I climbed up the trees and hid behind the leaves. Soon enough, they ran past us really quickly. They were wearing black hoodies, so we couldn't see their faces. But there was one thing I could see, it was a cat tail.

~Time Skip~

"They all had black hoodies and ran fast, so we couldn't see their faces." Cupcake explained to everyone. "And they did not seem friendly."

"So what's our plan?" Ty asked holding tight onto Sky's hand. Ty's eyes were teary, but he still kept stable.

"I say we just stick together. There's so many of us so we'll easily be able to fight them off." Cyanide said with a frightened voice. All of us agreed and stayed quiet for about 5 minutes until someone finally broke the silence.

"What if we don't survive!?" Fredi almost yelled, "WHAT IF THEY HAVE A WAY OF ACTUALLY FUCKING KILLING US IN THIS SHIT?!" Tears were starting to stream down his face; he was losing it. "I can't take this anymore... This is stupid..." Slama patted his back, trying to keep him calm. But he just kept on crying and mumbling to himself.

He wasn't the only one losing it. Ty and Zai were tearing up, trying to keep calm. And the rest of the people were frightened. Almost all of us kept quiet, but some mumbling still in the background. Nobody wanted to speak up. I sighed and kept on hugging Tyler. He was the only one I could trust at this moment, who knows maybe they're already sitting between us...

~Time Skip~

I sat on my side of the bed, thinking about what happened today. Tyler was downstairs eating with everyone else. And for the first time ever, I wasn't hungry. I didn't feel like eating today. I looked around the room and from the corner of my eye I saw something move in the window. I started shaking, "I-I must be paranoid..." I reassured myself.

I lay down on my side, trying to get myself together. I glanced out the window one last time, and saw something terrifying. A blurry dark figure with purple eyes was just staring at me. I covered my face with my pillow, hoping I was just hallucinating. I took the pillow away from my eyes to see that the same figure inside my room. This time I could see white hair and black cat ears and tail. The same purple eyes kept staring at me. I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping for someone to come.

The figure was slowly walking close to me. I covered up my face again, feeling absolutely terrified. Footsteps were heard going up the stairs. I felt the figure getting up to my ear, until it whispered "I hope you're ready for what's to come next~" The door suddenly slammed open and the figure left, leaving nothing behind it.

"KELSI WHAT HAPPENED?!" Tyler yelled, worried about me. I kept my face in the pillow, still too scared to say anything. He walked up to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and cried into his shoulder.

"S-Someone was in my room... A-And it wasn't one of us..." I kept on shaking, tears falling from my face. He hugged me tighter and stroked my hair.

"Shh, it's ok... I'm here with you now... No need to be scared..." I saw the others walk in, confused of why I was crying. I pulled away from the hug and looked through the window once again to see the same thing smirking at me, before disappearing into thin air.

"Kelsi what happened?" Alesa asked walking up to me. "I've never seen you cry like this before." I wiped my tears away and looked at her.

"T-There was something in my room. It was coming closer to me, until you came in... I-It looked like a cat hybrid with white hair and purple eyes..." I said in a less scared voice.

Kayla's eyes widened, "I-It's Vixen..." She said quietly. All of us turned to her with a confused look. "Back in middle school, people kept disappearing... She and her friend Tiggs also disappeared. The last time I saw her she had white hair and purple eyes..."

"Are you kidding me..." Carlo mumbled under his breath. All of us were silent, probably thinking how we can survive this.

"Let's just go to sleep. There's no point in thinking about it this late." Yuni said, breaking the silence. She was the calmest in this situation; well she is basically the badass here so I guess it's expected. "If you need anything I'll be in my room." And with that she left.

"Good night, I guess..." Mitch muttered, leaving with Jerome. Everyone soon left, leaving Tyler and I alone.

He put on his PJs quickly, took off his glasses and got in bed with me. I stared into his hazel eyes for a while, until he put an arm around me. I snuggled up to him, feeling his warmth against me. I looked up at him and saw he was smiling down at me. I smiled back and at him and slowly started feeling my eyes get heavy. "Good night, bubs~" He cooed into my ear. "G'night baby~" I managed to whisper back, before drifting off to sleep.
