Today had been the last day of Vidcon. I always loved meeting everyone and seeing YouTube friends I only seem to see once a year. But after a busy pass few days I was exhausted, occasionally sipping my beer as I stood near the bar. The vidcon party organisers just seemed to get bigger and better every year. Dance floor packed with drunk youtubers jumping around, the flashing lights, pink, purple and blue lighting up their faces.

"Hey, Dan. Long time no see, eh?" Jack Harries' deep voice broke me out of my trance, along with a pat to my back and a smirk.

"Oh yeah! How've you been?" I smiled back, catching up on all the countries he'd been visiting lately, easy conversation flowing between us.

We'd been talking and laughing for a while now, after making our way to the corner of the room so we could hear each other clearer. Both of us started laughing, something ridiculous I'd said making us burst into hysterics. As Jack bent over slighlty, laughter easily heard over the music, he gripped my arm to steady himself. Looking up, my eyes met Phil's, near by with Joey Gracceffa and Louise, beer in hand as he stared me down and an oblivious Jack.

Ever since we started dating all those years ago, Phil had always been slightly possessive and easily jealous. He'd never admit it, but when it came to me he always was. I didn't mind it and if I was being honest, I did quite like it. Especially the angry, amazing sex we'd have afterwards...

Nobody knew about the two of us, we just preferred to keep our relationship between just us without other people getting involved. But even so, Jack noticed where my view was placed, turning back from Phil's direction to me, winking cheekily before sauntering off.

Hesitantly, I walked towards Phil, his gaze never leaving me. Still watching me, he didn't say a word when I got to him, giving time for Joey to spot me and grin enthusiastically.

"Dan! It feels like forever since I've seen you!" He just about squealed, almost spilling his drink as he wrapped his arms around me.

He was definitely very drunk, clinging on tight to me like a koala, swaying us as he giggled, lingering for a bit too long. Eventually he released me, asking as many quetsions as he could in one breath, wanting to know everything he'd missed from my life recently. Phil still hadn't said anything, just watching my every movement as I interacted with Joey.

"You want another drink?" I had to shout over the music as I ducked my head down close to Phil's ear, the first chance I'd had to talk to him.

"Nah, I think I'm gonna call it a night actually." His voice didn't seem to carry any emotion, only just loud enough for me to hear.

"Oh, yeah okay. I'm getting quite tired to be honest."

I said my goodbyes to some as we made our way out of the party, Phil striding ahead. As we made it up to our hotel room he didn't usher a word to me, just sighing every now and then.

Swinging the door open he stormed in, a few steps ahead of me. After locking the door and taking my shoes off, I found Phil standing stiffly in the lounge area, staring out the window.

"Phil? What's wrong?" I asked quietly, worried I'd disturb him.

Slowly turning around, his features were dark, making me feel suddenly quite small, even though I was the tallest of us.

"God, you're so blind. Doesn't matter who we're with, you just have to be all over them. Why can't you just keep to yourself for once, Dan?" He growled every word, briskly walking towards me until we were face to face.
