Plot/Theme: Finding Her Again

"Where Do Broken Hearts Go"
Film Directed by Kai O'Donoghue

*video starts*
-Shows each of the boys doing something alone in their house
-Liam: Playing video games
-Louis: Sadly watching football
-Niall: Staring down at his untouched food
-Harry: Aimlessly and slowly pressing keys of a piano
-Zayn: Staring at a blank wall with spraypaint in his hands

-Liam pauses his game and sighs
-Louis switches off the television and runs his hands through his hair
-Niall pushes his food away
-Harry places his head on the piano headboard
-Zayn puts down the can of paint and sighs
-Each boy has a short flashback of their intended ex-girlfriend that they "never should have let go"

-Liam's Flashback: Him and girl playing arcade games together
-Louis' Flashback: Him and his girl at the football staduim, shrieking at their team to score a goal
-Niall's Flashback: Him and his girl feeding each other at a restaurant
-Harry's Flashback: Him watching his girl play the display piano at the mall
-Zayn's Flashback: Him watching his girl finish her spraypaint masterpiece at a local grafiti place

*music begins*

Counted all my mistakes and there's only one
Standing out from the list of the things I've done
All the rest of my crimes don't come close

So I built you a house from a broken home

-Niall sings the lyrics in his setting
-Shots of the untouched food
-Niall places his elbows on the table and resting his head in his hands
-Louis bows his head and folds his hands
-Liam stands up and runs his hand through his hair
-Harry closes the grand piano and shakes his head
-Zayn kicks away the spraypaint can and steps away from the wall

Yeah, it took me some time but I figured out
How to fix up a heart that I let down
-Shows each of the boys' faces light up as if they realized something
-Each of them grab things that they need to go out of the house
-They all dash out their doors

-Shows boys running towards some unknown place
-Shows Liam trying to dial his girl, but call fails
-Harry looks up at a street sign and dashes past it
-Niall checks the time on his watch and looks towards a street
-Louis taps on his steering wheel as he waits by a red light
-Zayn is trying to yank on his shoes as he runs with his skateboard in his hand

Yeah, the a taste of your lips on the tip of my tongue
Is at the top of the list of the things I want
Mind is running in circles of you and me
Anyone in between is the enemy
-Liam sings these lyrics as puts his phone away
-Shows Zayn finally getting on his skateboard and speeding with it
-Louis finally gets past the red light
-Harry is looking left and right before crossing another street
-Niall takes a shortcut through an alleyway

Shadows come with the pain that you're running from
Love was something you've never heard enough
Yeah, it took me some time but I figured out
How to fix up a heart that I let down
-Harry stops in front of a piano store and cups his hands as he looks inside
-Harry asks the store owner if his girl is working today by showing him her picture
-Store owner shakes his head
-Harry sighs in frustration and thanks the store owner before walking out

-Zayn flips up his skateboard and looks inside the paint shop for his girl. She's not there
-Louis pulls over to the park's soccer/fútbol field for his girl. She's not there
-Niall enters a different restaraunt where his girl works, and asks for her. She is not there.
-Liam checks a video game store where his girl works. She is also not there.
-Shows all of them in different frames, singing "Where do broken hearts go?"

-Harry sings these lyrics in front of the piano store
-Shows each of the boys walking away from their girls' working place, disappointed

-Each boy shows up at his girl's house
-Niall knocks on the door and tries peaking through the window
-Harry calls out to her from her balcony after trying to ring her doorbell with no response
-Zayn knocks and doorbells at the same time
-Liam is holding the radio up, hoping she'll hear him
-Louis honks his car's horn, glancing up at her bedroom window
-Shots of boys singing
-Shots of continuous attempts to call out to his girl
-Shows each of the boys getting frustrated

-Each boy realizes that she's not home
-Shots of them looking really disappointed that she's no where to be found
-Close up to each solo of "come on baby"
-Each boy's facial expression changes as if he realizes something

-All of them start running/skating/driving again
-Liam shows up at the arcade he and his girl played
-Niall shows up at the restaraunt
-Louis sneaks into the football stadium
-Harry shows up at the piano display
-Zayn turns the corner to the local grafiti place

Where do broken hearts go?
-Each boy finds their girl turning to them with a surprised expression that they are there

*music fades*
-Each boy say the words "I'm sorry"
-Video ends with boys doing the same activities that they were doing in the flashback

📓Author's Note: Hopefully all of that makes sense. I literally didn't edit any of it. LOL!
