Plot/Theme: Military

*scene starts with each boy staring down at a white gravestone*

"Clouds"

Guitar Introduction
-Shows a war battleground
-Shows each of the boys in their own homes, packing their things
-Show military draft letter
-The boys are in military outfits when singing shots are made

That you don't like it complicated
That we should try keep it simple

-Harry is packing and "speaking" the lyrics to his intended girlfriend or wife
-The girl is looking away, as if she's trying to ignore him
-The girl looks as if she's trying not to cry

-Louis's girl is crying and leaving the house after an evident fight about Louis' job as an army man
-Short flashback to the fight as Louis says, "I'M GOING"
-Louis is "speaking" the lyrics to his girl
-Louis goes in for a kiss
-Girl pushes him away and shakes her head, crying more

-Boys singing in a circle within the battle field
-Louis and Harry meet each other at bootcamp or military war camp ground
-Louis and Harry shake hands and befriend each other
-Scene shifts to a "lunch" type of setting
-Harry and Louis sit down
-Liam and Niall walk up to Harry and Louis, asking if they can take a seat with them
-Scene shifts to Liam's flashback

-Liam's wife is helping him pack
-She is crying and wiping her eyes
-Liam is "speaking" these lyrics to her while caressing her back and kissing her head

-Niall is already all packed
-Niall's intended "ex" comes by so their little daughter can say goodbye to Niall (her dad)
-Niall "speaks" the first lyric to his daughter
-The girl is in the background, frowning and wiping her eyes
-Niall gives his daughter one last hug and looks up at his ex
-She invites her daughter to come along now
-Niall goes in for a hug to his ex, but she just pats his shoulder and says to take care with a sad smile

-Show boys getting transported to war by aircraft/bulletproof vehicle
-Boys are running together and taking cover behind the trench
-Artillery and guns are sounding
-Boys take cover
-Sergeant tells them to move out and take center field
-Boys wish each other luck and gather weapons to fight

-Niall gets shot and falls to the ground
-Liam falls to his side and tries to get him to wake up
-Liam carries Niall on his back while Louis and Harry cover
-Louis gets shot in the leg
-Harry serves as a crutch and helps him walk
-Other soldiers try to cover them
-Rescue helicopter comes along and tries to get them inside
-As helicopter tries to lift off, granade explodes and helicopter comes crashing down with the boys inside

-Each boy appears in the home of their girl (and kid)
-Harry cries as he finds her sleeping alone
-Harry plants a kiss on his girl's forehead
-Louis approaches his girl, who is in the bathrub crying
-Louis wraps his arms around her
-Liam approaches his wife eating dinner alone
-Liam places his hand on hers
-Niall appears at the park where his ex and her husband are sitting, watching Niall's daughter play in the sand
-Niall places a hand on the new man's shoulders as if asking to take care of his family for him
-Niall goes to kiss his daughter's head
-Each boy fades away like dust in their final positions

*as music fades out into silence*
-Each boy is seen looking at their own gravestone and the viewer finds out that they are staring at their own names with the following words engraved below:

For serving bravely in the military.
"I'll be looking down at you from the clouds."

-Video ends with the boys wearing white, walking into what looks like the golden gates of heaven, clouds surrounding them and covering the camera
-Fade to black
