Chapter 2

MARCEL'S P.O.V.

I blinked at Catherine shocked at what she told me I mean stand up to my bullies I don't know it kinda scares me just thinking about it but then I look back and remember that she was in the same position as me when she was younger she used to wear glasses just like me and she would be so upset to the point where she would start crying which would turn into her getting bullied even more which hurt me seeing her so vulnerable so she got contacts during the summer before high school and she changed her whole look I mean don't get me wrong she looks beautiful either way with or without glasses she has always looked beautiful to me I then look at her and see her blushing wait what why is she blushing is it because of me no it can't be I've had a crush on her since middle school so she must be blushing at something she was thinking about

"okay class for the assignment that I have for you is a group project and I will be picking the partners" Mr. Harvey tells the class and I look through the corner of my eye and see that Catherine perked up at the sound of a group project for history class and I smile at the thought that she never lost that inner nerd when it comes to history "it can be about any era of time from the dinosaurs to current events you get to choose" I then see a wide smile form on Catherine's face and I know immediately that she has chosen the Shakespearian Era which is her absolute favorite part of history she would always be reading something by Shakespeare in free period or talking about it with my brother Harry which puts a smile on my face "Jack and Amanda ... Catherine and Marcel..." my eyes widen when I hear Mr. Harvey say that Catherine is my partner for this project I then take a look at our teacher and see a smile on his face and he sends me a small wink making me blush because he knows about my crush on Catherine we then hear the bell ring signaling that it's lunch time so I head out of the class as fast as I can and make it to my locker and put my books back in and take my brown paper bag lunch out as well as the books I'll need for the next classes as I turn around and shut my locker I'm slammed up against it by none other than my bully Josh the schools head jock

"well well well look at this little Marcel thinks that he can run away from me so easily doesn't he" he practically spits in my face and I don't answer him to scared to talk "answer me you loser" he screams in my face

"n-no I-I w-wasn't trying t-to r-run a-away I was just trying to g-get your h-homework" I stutter out

"well do you have it or not" he asks me

"y-yes" I then hand him the homework and he takes it dropping me to the floor and then kicking me in the stomach making me groan in pain

"don't be late with it next time nerd" and he walks off as I try to pick myself up off the ground I hear a gasp and I turn around and see Catherine with tears in her eyes and she runs up and helps me

"oh my god Marcel are you okay what happened" I look at her and see a tear fall from her beautiful brown eyes  I know that if I tell her she would look like she's seeing red I've seen that look on her face way to many times because I would always see how she would look after a guy she dated told her that he wanted to only have sex with her and to be honest I can't blame her because it makes me so mad hearing how guys would treat such a beautiful innocent creature like Catherine

"it was n-nothing" I lie to her and she frowns clearly not believing me but she doesn't say anything she just picks up my stuff and carries it while she helps me to the nurse

"hello Marcel what did Josh do this time" Veronica asks me and I stiffen because Catherine is still holding me up until Catherine helps me onto the table in the small nurses office and mumbles 'I'll be right back' before stomping out of the room angrily I then look at Veronica and she looks at me and smiles "she likes you Marcel a lot" my eyes widen and I start to cough a little

"Catherine  the most popular girl in school likes me are you crazy there is no way on earth that Catherine likes me I mean look at me" I explain to Veronica and she just frowns

"boy you don't get it do you she likes you how else would you explain why she stormed off like that" I just look at her confused and she lets out a huff what does she mean Catherine likes me

   AN:  ooooooh Marcel doesn't know Catherine has a crush on him awwww this is so cute btw if you guys were wondering about Catherine, Harry and Marcel they have been friends ever since Catherine moved to Cheshire  because Catherine's mom works with Harry and Marcel's mom btw I will try and update this as much as I can but I have school so it's going to be kinda hard and I'm 18 years old ugh but that's what I get for not doing the 12th grade AND YES I AM AMERICAN
