Hello! As you may have noticed, I've renamed the book along with the new write-up. It basically has the same meaning as the other title (it's just this one fits better onto the covers I make lmao- I mean what- Nah it's actually because I lost the old cover (which I'll probably rant about further down) and I cannot be bothered to make another cover so... This is the one I'm gonna use for now). This is the NEW 'Chapter One', if you would like to find the older version, it will be at the beginning of the book until I have finished rewriting all of the chapters. At that point I will most likely delete all of the old chapters. Those who have read my previous Author's note will know what I'm doing, maybe.

Who am I kidding, even I don't know what I'm doing anymore. XD Anyway, if you have any questions about any of my chapters, new or old, feel free to comment. I will answer it as best I can without spoiling anything! ;D

I'll stop talking now and let you read, have fun! Please tell me if you have any advice/improvements I could make. Oh, and if you spot any spelling mistakes, PLEASE point them out to me, it actually helps me out a lot~ ;3

Lol who am I kidding, this sucked. XD i'll probably end up changing it at some point - but then again, don't I always say that about my stories? 3:

PS: We don't talk about the cover - I messed up and got rid of it. Of course I made it on my old phone which someone else now owns so... That ain't ever coming back. XD I'll make a new one when I get time. Maybe.

"Please remain calm and make your way over to designated tutor area in an orderly fashion!" Vickie Evans, one of the many adults who was working at the school, exclaimed, attempting to prevent students from straying off the path that led to the meet-up point for fire emergencies.

It was mostly silent, and the students trudged along the grassy path. The surrounding area was surrounded in a thick, early morning fog. Which cloaked many of the school buildings in its grey pigment. This only dampened the dreary mood that had settled among the students. To make matters worse, it had been raining that morning, and the ground was damp and slippery. This made the path they were walking along a slight hazard for slipping over.

Many of the adolescents present dragged their feet along the muddy grass drearily, wanting to return to their warm classrooms, obviously they were not thrilled at the fact that they would have to go back to class, but it was better than the current October weather they were going to have to stand in for an unknown amount of time. Not to mention, it was a Monday. To put it simply, the students were not thrilled in the slightest.

Others were delighted at the chance to temporarily escape the confines of the room that had held them prisoner for no longer than five minutes. Some even used it as a chance to socialise and catch up with friends, considering they usually had no time in the morning for chatting; the school had decided to be particularly harsh this year and introduced a new rule, one that did not allow the students to have any free time in the mornings unless they came into school before their tutor started. Some blamed the new Head of the school for this, others decided to pin the blame on the poor behaviour of the majority of the students last year. Either way, it was an inconvenience for many.

Once the teachers had managed to settle all of the students down and sort them into their allotted tutor groups, each one began to take the register for their class, ensuring that nobody was trapped inside the school building or missing. Despite the teachers' warnings of detention, many students continued to talk over them and the continuous ringing of the fire bell.
