Chapter 2: School Bathrooms+Darkness= Bad Situation

'That feels so much better..' I sighed in relief as I brushed my fingers through my annoyingly long blonde hair, making sure it was as tidy as it was going to get. What can I say? I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my hair.

"I guess this'll have to do until I can go steal- I mean 'borrow' Lexi's hairbrush.." I mumbled to myself as I gave my hair one final pat down. "One of these days I'm gonna come into school with blue hair and the teachers can go screw themselvs... Oh jeez, I've been hanging around with Morgan a bit too much.." I smirked to myslef (After all, who else was I going to be smirking at, the ghost that lives in the toilet stall?) as I turned towards the bathroom door.

Then everything went black.

No, I didn't black out, and no, I didn't get kidnapped. The lights in the bathroom went off.

'Ugh.. I swear to God.. Whoever turned those lights off better run for ther lives. After all, Morgan can be pretty scary when she wants to be..'

Why they gotta be so rude? Couldn't they annoy a teacher instead?

I hate the dark.. More than I hate Ayanami for basically killing Mikage in 07 Ghost. That douche definitely went too far with that one.. ;-;

That's right brain; keep making anime references to distract yourself from the scary situation you've found yourself in. Leave me here on my own to think about the dark why don't you.. I confuse myself so much.

What was that noise?! Oh God.. The bathroom door just shut on it's own.. Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. Don't do this to me. I had art last lesson!

'I'm gonna die if I'm locked in.. The only other way out would be to climb through the air vent and get out that way.' I thought, trying to calm myself down. Clearly I was failing miserably but at least I was trying.

'But how're you going to see the vent if it's pitch black in here?' The logical part of my brain magically appeared, trying to reason with me.

'That's why I have my phone on me dumbass.' Was my oh so fabulous answer.

'It's in the school bag you left with your friends, along with the mini library you carry around with you, snacks for science class, and the torch you forgot to give back to your grandad last Tuesday.'

'Oh. Oh dear. It just isn't my day today.. Do you happen to know if the door is locked my good friend?'

'Why don't you go and check instead of asking me?'

'Good idea. Thanks!'

'You're welcome I guess.. I'll see you soon.'

'Yeah, Okay~!'

Wait. See you soon? What the actual..? Now that I think about it that sounded like the voice that spoke to me in the 07 Ghost quiz.. Ugh this is making my brain hurt. So let's just pretend that never happened like a person would. ((A/N: *whispers* The making sense is so real right now..))

I turned around, attempting to feel my way back to a sink or a cubicle. Not a wall though. I hate walls. Don't know why or how it happened. But I just do. I get the feeling they're always watching us.. Preparing to take over the world..

After I'd found a sink, I began to hyperventalate and freak out. I guess being in the dark effects me more than I thought..
In my state of panic, I forgot to notice the small, dull white light in the mirror.

"Holy donuts! What the hell is that?!" I yelled, backing away from it. Is this toilet haunted or something?! It's got to be.. First the weird voice in my head that I thought was my logical mind..
