Chapter 1 (Jennifer)

She stepped out of the car, stretching her legs. The car ride to the premiere had been long and the small backseat of the limo had left her legs quite cramped. Jennifer thanked the driver and looked around. The fans were already lined up, the photographers anxiously awaiting the cast to walk the carpet.

"You look gorgeous, love." She immediately felt an overwhelmingly large smile take over her face. She turned around to see her handsome and sexy co-star behind her. Damn, his scruff and accent.

"Thanks, Colin," Jen replied, looking at down at her attire. A vibrant emerald green lace dress was bringing out her eyes, while gold heels added height to her petite frame. "You don't look to bad yourself." And he didn't. Colin was wearing a black suit with a, ironically enough, an emerald green bow tie.
"Thank you." He smiled, when a blonde woman walked up behind him. Helen.

Ah, Helen. One of the sweetest, kindest, and loving women Jen had ever met. And to top all of that off, she was Colin's wife.

It wasn't supposed to happen this way. Jen was not supposed to fall in love and be hooked on (no pun intended) a married man. But she was. And she was certainly not supposed to become best friend's with his wife. But she was. And she was not supposed to feel terrible about being in love. But she did.

But now was not the time to dwell. Later on, when she was snuggled up with Ava, a pint of ice cream, and reruns of Friends is when she could dwell. Right now was the time to show her fans how much she loved them and to smile and try not to trip, and to be Jennifer Morrison. So that's what she was going to do.

The cast trickled in, everyone greeting each other with hugs and excitement was buzzing through the air. Bodyguards took their places, fans began to scream, and lights began flashing. Colin caught Jen's eye and smiled at her. She smiled and sighed.
Tonight was going to be a long night.
