Chapter 5 (Jennifer)

                                              The minute Jennifer arrived home from the premiere, she flopped on her couch, face down. She heard the soft scrape of claws and a high pitched bark. 
                          "Hello to you too, Miss Ava." The little white dog barked happily, jumping up into Jen's lap. She smiled sadly and buried her face in her dog's soft fur, kicking off her heels. Ava started to squirm, panting happily. 
                          Jen let Ava down and quickly went up to her room to change out of her dress. Her fuzzy pajama pants were screaming her name, along with an episode of Outlander. 

                          She let out a sigh of contentment as she sunk down into her bed, reclining against her plush pillows. She grabbed the remote, prepared to lose herself in kilts and swords when her phone let out a series of buzzes. 
                          She couldn't help but laugh at what she saw. A picture of Evan with a pair of boxers on his head, jumping on his bed, with the message, Someone doesn't want to go to bed attached. 
                          (Side note: Jen's text are bold and Colin's are italic)
                          Now I see what you were talking about she replied. 
                          Buzz.
                          And the worst part is he somehow managed to steal a pair of  my boxers as well😂 
                          Jen collapsed into a fit of laughter. 
                          Sounds like quite the conundrum!😂 
                          Indeed so. But I think I have conquered Evan the Demon Boy. He sent her a picture of Evan curled up in bed, fast asleep. 
                          She smiled at the adorable boy. Congrats, Sir Colin. Would you like a gold star on your forehead? 
                          How did you know, Lady Jennifer?
                          Lucky guess, I suppose?😀⭐️
                          The two texted back and forth for hours. The early sun glinting off of Jen's screen made her realize the time. 5:42 AM. 
                          We should probably get to bed, huh?
                          Yes, I suppose so. 
                          Goodnight Jen❤️
                          Her heart fluttered. She knew she was probably overthinking this, but, God, this man got her heart racing. 
                          Goodnight Colin😊
                          She plugged her phone in and snuggled down into her covers, a smile plastered on her face. 
                          It was the first time in a long time she had gone to bed smiling.
