After August picked me up the other day we decided I would move in this weekend. Its Friday now and I still have to pack my clothes. I walked in from a long day at the gym, Kevin came out of Erin's room
"Wassup pregnant"
"Ahaha you're funny... you just now comin up for air"
He laughed and walked into the kitchen.
"You kno I'm trained to hold it for a long time"
"Oh God TMI"
"What y'all in here laughin about"
"You're boyfriend being nasty"
"Thats nothing new"
She laughed then stepped on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. All three of us are short as hell Gi being the tallest of the three. I can't stand the way we have to step on our toes to do stuff. Gi walked in the apartment with these bundles of fabric
"Look what I got for the low"
She tossed them on the sofa
"These fabrics look great"
Me and Erin walked over to look at them
"Yea and this lady was having a yard sell when I dropped Antonio off and imagine seeing theses hiding... I got all three for fifty dollars"
"Are you serious"
"Yea the girl said her mom wasnt going to need them anymore"
"Aww that's so sad"
Erin put her hand over her heart
"Noo not like that she's just not sewing anymore for whatever reason but she's still alive"
Losing track of time I sat down at the table with Erin and Gi
"Oh your mom called me"
I rolled my eyes
"Why"
Ill admit I haven't talked to her in a couple days but I just don't wanna here her lecture me about moving in with August
"She said she hasn't talked to you in a while"
"I talked to her the other day"
"Well she is..."
My mom walked thru the door
"Ok so who left their phones off"
"Ms. Vi"
Erin gets up and hugs her
"Hi baby... Kevin how are you"
"Doing just great ma'am and you"
She sat her purse down on the table
"I'm trying to figure out why my daughter has been ignoring my calls"
Everybody looked at me, Gi grabbed her water bottle
"Thats my cue"
"And Gina you should call Maria before she follows my lead"
"Doing that now Senora"
She walked into her room and Erin pulled Kevin to hers. My mom folded her arms and stared at me waiting for an answer.
"I'm sorry mommy I didn't want to hear all the lecturing..."
"Lecturing could do you some good young lady"
I get up and go to my room, she follows behind me and sits on my bed.
"Can we just not argue today"
"I didn't come here to argue... you're suppose to be moving today right"
I looked back at her from pulling clothes out of my closet
"Yea right soo..."
"I want to meet this Augusta Al..Alsina"
I let a little laugh slip
"August as in the month ma"
She waved me off

"Well he'll be here shortly and I'm still not packed"
