SEVENTEEN.

After 3 days, Lilly is still there. Dead. But she looks like she's still sleeping. I haven't moved ever since that happened. Her mother keeps bringing us food and makes sure that everything is going to be alright. She's in denial. No one has been talking ever since the incident. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to anyone about this, Until..

"I know what to do" Marco said, Marco is Lilly's dad. I just found out his name while we were all setting a camp near Lilly.

"Honey, you have to listen to me" he said towards Cindy.

"Let down the barrier" He said

"What? No! They're going to kill her and she's not going to make it!" She screamed.

"No, you're going to let Kyle in"

Everyone was now looking at me, and I am just as confused as they are

"What? Why me? What am I supposed to do?" Seriously, what am I going to do? My mate is dead. There is nothing that I can do to make her alive again. I can't even feel her when I'm supposed to.. She's dead.

"You're going to bite her. We have to try. That's the only way she can be alive again" Marco said anxiously.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Craig shouted

"It's not going to work Marco! Never was there a record of a female making it alive from transition. Never. They always die. I better let her rest and let us all hide once and for all" Cindy exclaimed.

"Marco, you can't do this. It's beyond our laws. You already broke one by marrying a Seeker and now you want to experiment on your own daughter?"

"It's the best shot we've got, she's the only one that could stop the fight between the Seekers and the Crescent Sires"

"Those are just the legends Marco! You're going to kill her more! If it doesn't work, you know my son would die too!"

"What? Why am I going to die? What are you all talking about?! Why am I always left out?!!"

"You marked her, your blood runs in her body, whatever happens to her, happens to you!"

"Then how come I didn't die when she .. she.." I couldn't say the word, it was too painful for me to say it. My mate is gone, my only chance to have a family of my own is.. gone.

"That is the reason why I am asking you to bite my daughter, is to see why you didn't die. There is a huge chance she'll come back to life! You have to try! Please!" Marco is really going to do anything for his only child.

"Cindy, please.. Craig.."

"No. I'm not going to let my son die."

As they were arguing, they didn't seem to notice that Cindy put the barrier down, I was confused because she was against Marco's wish. I slowly went towards Lilly.. the barrier went back up while I was inside. I could see Craig shouting at me and the boys as well but I couldn't hear them. I pick up Kylee and embraced her in my arms, her body was cold as ice, yet she seemed like she was just sleeping. I looked towards her neck and noticed that my mark was gone, so fast. I bit into her shoulder hoping that she would move, a couple of minutes later.. nothing. I stood up and wanted to leave yet Cindy didn't put the barrier down.

"What are you doing?!" I asked her, but she clearly just looked at me with no expression.

Craig was already in his wolf form attacking Marco, two best friends turned enemies in a click because of two young teenagers that fell in love. Cindy looked at me and mouthed "you deserve this, you killed my daughter" then I could feel a shock, she's trying to kill me. I couldn't move, I feel like I'm being electrified over and over again, the pack was fighting Marco, but they couldn't touch Cindy, she was powerful. The moment Cindy started to walk away I could hear Lilly screaming.

Everyone stopped and the barrier went down, Cindy was shocked as well. Lilly was in pain, crying, yet awake and alive. I tried going near her yet she's transforming in agony.

"Everyone back up! Now!" Craig ordered. Everyone did so, except me, I could feel my mate. In pain. Cindy just stood there in disbelief that Lilly is alive and so was Marco.

Lilly.. she was slowly breaking.. I don't know if she'll make it. All females who got bit by a wolf don't normally shift fully, until they die.

Watching Lilly in pain slowly hurts me, I couldn't do anything.

She stood up, ran to the woods, I wanted to follow her but they stopped me.

She was screaming in pain, asking for help yet no one could come near her since shifting for the first time is the worst feeling anyone could ever feel. They are more vulnerable and wild, they don't care who you are, they will attack you. Not in a safe state of mind condition.

I want to run after her, I really do. After her torturing screams that seemed like forever, it all fell silent. Everyone was worried. Whispers were everywhere, presuming she's dead..

But not me.
