"Mom.. there has to be another way" Lilly asked, you can see by her face that she is terrified, she's new to all this because of me.

"I think I know how" Craig stepped in. Marco on the other hand just kept quiet the whole time, it's like he can't believe that everything that is going around is real. He's been in shock ever since.

"How? As long as you don't get her killed then I'll agree with the plan" I held Lilly tight around my arms. I don't ever want to let her go. Ever.

"If Elizabeth hid Lilly to the Seekers that she is a seeker, then she could do it again, right? They won't have to know. Lilly can just come with us and train, like how a wolf should. We're a pack, we look out for each other, and by that it means wolves only. You know how it works I presume. I don't care if rumors spread out that there's a female wolf, nobody knows that she's a crescent sire and no one will ever know that she's a seeker. If you'd help us, the pack and I will leave first thing in the morning. We won't let you know where we are going. I don't trust you, Cindy. You know that."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Marco asked. I could see the fear in Cindy's eyes while looking towards Craig.

"I'm sorry for whatever happened, but fine.. you have my word. I'll do it myself, since Elizabeth won't help us anymore. Just keep my daughter safe."

"Marco, you're not coming with us" Craig said.

"What?! Why the hell not?!" Marco is furious at this point, ready to shift until Lilly hugged him.

"Dad.. Please, I asked him not to bring you along. I think it's better if you let the other's know that I.. died. In that way, if they ever look for mom, they know that I'm dead and no longer a threat. I'll change my identity, dad please.. it's the only way"

"Marco.. I have an idea, I'll keep our daughter safe, but you have to trust me this time. Especially you, Craig." Cindy's face was emotionless, she looks hurt. She took out her necklace with a diamond pendant and held it in her hand.

"Cindy.. don't do this.." Craig went near Cindy, but she walked away from him and went towards Marco and kissed him.

"Marco, I love you. Don't be mad at Craig."

"I don't understand.. What's going on?"

"Tonight's a full moon. I'll ask everyone to scout the forest tonight and stay guard. Marco, stay behind Cindy at all times. She'll need you."

"Copy Alpha." He bowed his head and kissed Cindy on the forehead and same with Lilly, he then went towards the pack house and ordered everyone to scout and protect the whole perimeter.

Craig pulled me to one side away from everyone else and said,

"Kyle, you won't like what you're going to see.."
