The Internship

The strong wind crashing through my face and the breeze brushing my hair. I could feel my heart beating to the speed of the ride as it drops when Justin takes quick turns. This guy is a maniac! Is he seriously trying to kill me? Ito yung mga nababasa kong mga experiences kaya ayoko subukan. Duwag nako, edi ako na. I hug him tighter, trying to stay alive, as he takes one sharp turn and I feel my soul leave my body.

"We're here princess." I open my eyes in disbelief. Is it really over? Bumitaw na ko sa pagkayakap sakanya at nagmadaling makababa. Nahihilo nako. I'm never riding with Justin ever again!

"Clingy aren't we?" He laughs. I rolled my eyes. "I had no choice Justin. Either that or risk falling off of your stupid bike!" He just laughs at my reaction. 

"Girls usually love my baby. You're lucky you get to ride it." He smiled. Damn, ang gwapo niya. Control your girly needs.

My hair is a mess from that ride. I tie it up in a high ponytail and start to look around and figuring out where the heck we are. The ride wasn't that long but the ride felt like it was never going to end. "Where are we?" I don't seem to recognize this place.

"We're at Shem's. It's a restobar. You can play, drink and eat here. I told you we need to talk about that feisty attitude of yours." He grabs my wrist and we enter the place. The place reeks of testosterone and I sight some good looking guys. May mga babae rin naman dito. Umakyat kami ni Justin nang may sumalubong saming lalakeng gwapo na mukhang kaclose ni Justin.

"Justin! Didn't know you'd be he-" bati niya nang biglang nagulat siya nung nakita ako. "WOAH! Who's the hot babe J? Man! You really have it easy!" he asks Justin so eagerly and smiles at my presence.

"This is Aya. She's my mentor at Josh's agency. I told you, we're doing this to get credit. This is just work." He introduces me bluntly. "Aya this is Shem. His family owns the place." I offer Shem a hand to shake but he takes my hand and pulls me towards him and he kisses me on the cheek.

"The pleasure's mine princess." He winks. Namula naman ako. Gwapo siya. He's wearing a grey top and pale blue jeans with a flannel tied over his waist. Naka-cap pa siya and he really looks cool. Who wouldn't be flattered? "Why don't you introduce her to the others J?" He suggests. Justin nods. "Have anything you want dear, pretty thing like you shouldn't be troubled."

Lumapit kami sa tatlong lalake naglalaro ng billiards and they take notice nung nakita kami ni Justin. The same as Shem's reaction. Surprised and curious. Justin leaves me to go get a drink. Akala ko ba papakilala niya ko? Thanks Justin, Thanks a lot.

"I'm Tommy and this is my twin Timmy." He introduces himself and slims an arm around his twin's shoulder. Magkamukha nga sila. Parehas gwapo. So I can't really compare them. Hahaha. But they're style is really different and easy to recognize. Tommy's hair is pushed back by his cap which he is wearing backwards like a really cool guy would. He's wearing a polo shirt and dark jeans. He has a particular vibe to him that you just would know.

Timmy apparently is wearing his hair up and dressed in a checkered flannel with a shirt underneath and jeans. He looks like a dancer and looks very attractive.

"I'm Nat." All of Justin's friends are really hot. Did they seem to find each other that easily? Birds of the same feather I guess? He offers me a friendly smile and offers me a sit on the stool. They all look at me waiting for an introduction.

"I'm Aya. Justin's my intern. We just met today." I give them a smile. Were they convinced? Wala naman ako masyadong masabi kasi we just met. So I really don't know anything about him but his rude impression from earlier.
