The Internship

The next day. Pinindot ko yung floor number ko sa elevator and started heading up. Today was going to be a busy day. I smirk at the thought. I don't plan to be mean or harsh but if I have to, I won't hesitate. I just have to get along with him and everything will be fine. Kelangan kong maging friends sakanya para matapos to! My mindset is for Josh!

Biglang bumukas yung elevator and I suddenly frowned at who was standing in front of me. Why does this keep happening to me?

"We gotta stop meeting like this babe." He joked. I wasn't really in the mood to see him, hell I don't think I'll ever be in the mood.

"Good morning Ian." I faked a smile. Uhm wait why did I? I mean it's obvious I don't like him. Siguro naman alam na rin naman niya yun pero di niya pinapansin.

"Good morning to you too sunshine. Heard you both got two freshies yesterday?"

"Yup." Keeping the conversation to a minimum. "Malas nga eh." I whispered.

"Whoever they are they better not get too close to you babe. Walang makakauna sayo kundi ako."

"You still think that way Ian? You know I don't even like you."

"All the more reason to try harder. Take your time babe. Falling in love feels better when you take your time."

Lul.

"Keep dreaming Ian."

"How'd you know I dream of you? Babe naman. Pano mo nalaman?"

I laughed at his words. Nakakatawa naman kasi si Ian. Charmer siya pero minsan kelangan maging cold to show a message. I don't hate Ian personally. I just hate his personality. Man-whore remember? I could take his jokes and efforts but nothing else more.

"I get the feeling you have creative dreams of me.  Your floor's coming up next."

He acted surprised. "Babe talaga. Pano mo nalalaman yun? Alam mo na iniisip ko pati floor ko?" 

"I can see the floor button you pushed." 

"Oh. Akala ko you started to get to know me na eh." Ginamit niya baby voice niya at para siyang bata. Hahaha. Nakakatuwa siya ngayon. Inaamin ko, I didn't plan to have a conversation with him but it really isn't that bad.

"I have to see my intern right about now. I hope I can get through this without  killing anyone." 

"Hahaha! Wag naman sana silang pabigat. Ako bahala sayo sabihan mo lang ako." He put his hand on his chest with matching arte. He looked quite amusing for a moment there.

"Aww, you're so sweet Ian." I joked. Can't always be too cold though. But joking like this is just fine.

"Anything for you babe." He winked and got on the floor in front of us. I rolled my eyes.

When I arrived at the office, I spot the cause of my aggreviation since yesterday. And even if he looks so fresh right there like he just got out of the bath and smells so- wait stop checking him out! Babae nga naman! Napatingin siya bigla sakin.

"Look who's here. Scared you off on the first meeting did I?" He teased. Gusto ko lang makaraos na makasama to. Gotta keep cool.

"It's all in the past. Here's your schedule." I handed him a copy of his. He scanned through the timeslot and his eyes widened to his dismay.

"Early in the morning?! I'm still asleep by that time!"

"Then you should start waking up early. And I need you to fill up a bunch of stuff." I handed him a thick amount of papers.
