Chapter 7

~ Vincent ~

"Arghhh!" I said in a frustrated tone. "I hate him!" I said throwing some random book I found on the table. I crawled back into my bed and sat there, sulking. Yea, like a little kid pouting. But whatever. As you can see, I don't get along with that kid. His name is Brendon. He's my bother. Well, not my biological brother. My step brother. We're both the same age, we use to get along, we're like the best of friends, bros for life. But then, well, I don't even know myself, some bullshit happened. I'm not really clear of the situation myself. It was a long time ago. However, I know that I can't forgive him.

My mom, she had problems with my dad, my real dad. They ended up getting a divorce, and I went with my mom, and my younger sister went with my dad. Then, my mom met Brendon's dad. They started dating and got married. Next thing you know, we were step brothers. I have a step sister as well, I get along with her better than Brendon.

What a weirdo, I don't understand that guy. Oh well, it was nice to receive some peace for the rest of the day. Although, I know he would be back to give me another headache tomorrow.

I didn't attend any of my class, I just did what I usually did, sit and read in the library. I don't need to learn from these classes, I learn ahead on my own. Today though, I wandered the hall a bit. The library is a quiet place, it's all the way upstairs, that top floor isn't used much, there aren't any classes up there either. I took a stroll down that hall and came across a certain room that caught my eye. For a floor that isn't used much, that room looked bright. I opened the door, only to find a room with instruments. Wow, I was amazed. There was another music room? Well, it's smaller than the other room, but I wondered why this was abandoned.

Nonetheless, I took a few steps inside and saw a window, that's where the light was coming from, the sun was coming through the curtains. I pushed the curtains to the side and opened the window. I let out a peaceful sigh, the breeze felt nice. There was a piano not far from where the window was, there was another window beside that piano. I sat down and started to press down upon a few keys. It's been a while since I've touched a piano. Given the fact that I'm not even allowed to. I couldn't really remember how to play it. Oh well, I played what I could. I even started singing as well. Suddenly, I heard footsteps, I quickly ran out of the room, closed the door, and used the other exist.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. I said while kissing my teeth. What a bad, bad girl you are, Akumu. Heh. I gave out a little chuckle. Let's see what yet to happen.

The next day of school, I didn't see Yume. I wondered why, I didn't do anything bad to her yesterday. Maybe she'll come later on in the day? I thought to myself. I saw a few ladies that were quite fine as I was wandering the halls. Time to have a bit of fun perhaps? I chuckled a bit.

~ Yume ~

"WHY?!" The sound of a slap was heard. "Why did you do that?!" Somone said. "Akumu! You know much better than that!" Another person said. Why, why. I said to myself in my mind. Was he the one that told? He figured out? I hate this, I hate this. I said still keeping it to myself as I was being scolded at and beaten a bit. "Akumu!" "Akumu!" I lifted my head only to receive another slap in the face. "Akumu! Answer me!" "Riki!" I screamed. "I hate you! I hate you!" I got up from the ground to give him a punch, but, I was held back. I was scolded at once again from trying to hurt him. They all just left me there afterwards. "Why, I haven't done anything wrong. Why can't I share the same thing as Riki? Why do we all have to be so different from each other?" I spoke. "I hate this." I said talking to myself again.

I went to my room, and laid down on my bed, curled up into a ball. I just want to play the piano, why is that so wrong? Why can only Riki play it? Akumu, Akumu, Akumu... I murmured. Screw all of this. I fell asleep afterwards.
