Chapter 18

After we pulled away I wanted to kiss him again, but he stepped away.

"What do you want to do?" He asked

"I don't care." I replied

"Do you want to go to the park?" He asked

"Yes!!" I said a little louder than I should have

"Ok let's go." He smiled

I got my phone and batman bag and put my phone,keys, charger, small hairbrush, and extra makeup (just in case) and my wallet that had $30 in it in my bag.

Then we walked hand in hand down to my van.

I let go of masons hand to hug my baby.

"We are going to the park baby. You ready?" I said to my van

Mason looked like he was about to burst out laughing but i just got in the drivers side.

"So you talk to your car." He said trying to contain his laugh

"Well duh! It's my baby! Don't act like you don't love your Xbox or something so much you talk to it." I said and started the engine

"Ok, your right." He said in defeat

I giggled and pulled out of the drive way.

I plugged up my music and Run Away Baby by Bruno Mars was on. I didn't turn it up loud though.

"So, do you have a car?" I asked

"Uh, yea." He chuckled

"Ok haha. What kind is it." I said keeping my eyes on the road

" a black camero." He said

"Nice car." I said

"Yea so is this your only car?" He asked

"Nope I have this, and a black El Camino." I said

"That cool. So you like old cars?"

"Nope, I love em!" I giggled

"That's cool." He said " so when's your birth day?" He asked

"July 15." I said

"Only five days away." He stated

"Yep. Not that I've been keeping track of it or anything." I laughed and so did he

"Mine is August 5" he said

"I don't know how many days away that is." I giggled

I pulled in to a parking space at the park and we hopped out.

I left my bag in the van but I put my phone in my pocket.

We walked a little way in silence till I decided to ask him a question.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked

"Yea. But I'm going to break up with her." He said

My heart dropped, I know I shouldn't be so sad. But he's my mate.

"Are you a virgin?" He asked

I hesitated. I didn't know if I should tell him. What if he doesn't want me anymore.

"So I'm taking that as a no." He said sounding mad and sad at the same time.

" can we sit? I need to tell you something." I said

"Sure." He replied

We sat on a bench. For a bit I didn't say anything. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell him.
