Harry looked at me with his cold, piercing green eyes. I wanted to look away, but I knew I couldn't; I was too caught up in the emeralds in his eyes.

"Elle? Elle? Elise!" Brooke yelled at me, snapping both Harry and I out of our trances.

"W-what?" I stuttered, shaking my head and averting my attention back to the group. Harry's eyes stayed bored into me.

"Did you even hear a word I was saying? I asked if you wanted to come to the party tonight." Brooke had an eager look on her face.

"I dunno if that would be a good idea..I haven't talked to Peirce about it." I figeted in my chair.

"Who cares what your boyfriend thinks? Do you have to run everything by him?"

"She has a boyfriend?" Bree asked, sounding a little disgusted. Offensive much?

"Yeah, actually I do," I reply. "And yes I do run everything by him. I don't want him to worry." I defended Peirce.

The boy Niall snorted. "You're worried that he's gonna freak out that you went to a party?"

"Peirce cares alot about me. It wouldn't be fair for me to just run off and do something like this without him." These people were really starting to get on my nerves. They had no right to judge Peirce and I like that.

"Invite this Peirce guy with us. That way he won't feel left out." Ashton said. I hadn't realized until now that the whole table was looking at me, they really wanted me to come.

"Er, parties aren't really our thing," I said, going warm in the face.

Brooke raised her eyebrows at me. "Have you ever even been to a real party before?"

I shifted in my seat, looking down at the ground, then shaking my head no.

"No? Like as in never?" Now it was Zayn's turn to act surprised.

"No, like I said. Parties aren't really Peirce and my cup of tea."

"Didnt you say he was busy tonight?" Brooke asked. I nodded yes. "Well then why would he care if you went out. He's not with you."

"C'mon, Elle, please?" Calum begged, looking at me with big puppy eyes.

"She's not going to do it, guys. You're wasting your breath." Bree spoke up.

"Why wouldn't she?" Niall said with raised eyebrows.

"Just look at her. She's a prude. I mean look at how she dresses." My jaw fell open. I did not expect her to say that.

"Bree, you don't have to be so rude," Brooke said. "She's just never been to one befo-"

"I'll go." I said.

Everyone at the table looked at me.

"Where is it?" I asked. The look on Bree's face was priceless. She looked absolutely shocked that I actually agreed to go.

"Um, Louis' frat house," Zayn said, gesturing to the small posh boy at the end of the table. He gave me a small wave. I smiled back at him.

Harry hasn't said a word since he sat down to eat. I glanced up at him again, half hoping he would still be looking at me. But of course, he wasn't.

"We should probably get going then, if we wanna make it before it gets out of control," the girl Amber said, putting her fair share of the check into its case, then standing up and brushing smooth her tiny miniskirt. It was obvious the girls were dressed for a party.

The rest of us followed her lead by standing up and walking out the doors.

"Okay, so I guess you, me, Zayn, and Calum?" Brooke said to me.

"No." His rough British tone caught me off guard, causing my eyes to widen.

"What do you mean no, Haz?" Calum asked, walking up to Harry. "No you don't want Elle to go?"

"No, I mean I want to drive her, not you," Harry was back to looking straight at me.

"Suit yourself," Calum said, shrugging his shoulders.

I shifted nervously on my feet before following him to his car. What was I doing, getting into a car with someone I barely know. I opened the passenger door, and got in.

"You know I have a boyfriend, right?" The words poured from my mouth before I could stop them.

This made Harry laugh loudly. "You think I'm driving you because I want to date you?"

Now that he said it outloud, it sounded silly. I answered his question by not looking at him and staring out the window instead.

"No offense Elise, but you are not my type."

“Don't call me Elise.”

“Okay, Elise.”

I glanced over at him, and he had a smug expression on his face. “Is Bree your girlfriend?” I remembered how they looked at each other.

Harry laughed. “No, she's not. I don't have a girlfriend, and I don't want one. Why, are you disappointed?” He smirked at me.

I scoffed. “No, I'm not. I have a boyfriend and we are very happy together, thank you very much.”

“Is he a prude like you?”

“First of all, I am not a prude. Second, why did you want to drive me to the party if you were just gonna make fun of me the entire time?”

“I wanted to know why you were staring at me all through dinner.”

I blushed. “I wasn't staring at you. You were staring at me.”

“I was only staring because you were. We're here now.” He turned off the car, and climbed out and walked towards the front door of the frat house. The place was packed with people. I scurried out of the car and hurried to catch up with Harry.
