"Elise? Who's this?" My mother said. She sat on my bed next to Peirce. They were both eyeing me and Harry.

"Um, mom, this is Harry, my English project partner. Harry, this is my mother." Harry just curtly nodded at her, and she just stared back hard. Peirce was giving Harry a look that shot daggers.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her, still standing with Harry awkwardly in the doorway.

"You haven't even tried to contact me in over two weeks, so I decided to come up to make sure you were alright. And on my way up here, I bumped into Peirce, your boyfriend." She said the last part while looking straight at Harry. "Peirce, could you please leave us for a few minutes to talk alone? You can wait in the hallway. And you," she pointed at Harry, "don't you have anywhere else you could be right now other than my daughter's dorm room?"

Harry gave me a look that I couldn't quite place, before turning around and leaving down the hall. Peirce followed behind to wait in the hall, closing the door behind him.

"Why was he here?" My mother asked. I took a seat in one of the chairs.

"I told you, mother, he's my project partner for my English class."

"But why him?" She asked in disgust. I felt the sudden urge to defend him.

"He's not a bad person," I said loudly. "Besides, I didn't choose him."

"He's trouble, Elise. He's covered in a million different tattoos. Are you forgetting who your boyfriend really is?"

I shook my head.

"Boys like him don't like girls like you, Elise." She said coldly.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"You belong with Peirce. He's good for you. Not that kid."

I didn't want to fight with her anymore. She was right, Peirce was my boyfriend. And Harry didn't like me, not in the way Peirce does at least.

"You're right, mother. I don't even like Harry. And I love Peirce." Okay, so maybe that was all one giant lie. I deffinetly liked Harry, and I deffinetly didn't love Peirce.

She gave me a smile. "I need to head back home." She stood up from the bed, and I stood up from my chair. I walked over to the door, with her trailing behind.

"I love you, Elise." She said, kissing my head.

"I love you too," I said.

I opened the door and she walked out, Peirce walking in seconds later.

"What was that all about?" He asked me. I took a seat on the bed, and he sat next to me.

"She was worried about us, about Harry." Peirce's smile rapidly changed to a frown.

"I don't like him," he said.

"I know. You've said that before."

"I don't like it when you go to his house alone, even if it is to work on a project together."

"Peirce, all we're doing together is our homework. Nothing is going on between us." A pang went through my chest as I lied to his face.

"I love you so much, Elle. You know that, right?" I nodded my head, smiling at him. He returned the gesture, wrapping his arms around my neck.

He slowly leaned in, and softly placed his lips against mine.

His actions were so different from Harry's rough, passionate ones.

Peirce slowly moved his lips against mine, not even using tounge.

Okay, so maybe he wasn't the best kisser ever. Other than Harry, he was the only boy I have kissed. I don't have much to compare him to.

I felt the sudden urge to deepen the kiss, so my mind would leave thoughts of Harry behind. I began moving my lips faster against his, and rubbing my tounge against his lower lip. Not breaking the kiss, I slipped onto Perice's lap, my legs straddling around him.

He quickly pulled away, looking me directly in the eye.

"What has gotten into you, Elle? I thought we both agreed that we wouldn't do anything intimate until after we were married?" He said, pushing me off his lap.

"It was just kissing," I mumbled, smoothing out my shirt. "Have you ever drank anything before?" I asked, the question slipping out before I could stop it.

"What?" He asked surprised. "You mean like alcohol?" I nodded. "No, of course not. Drinking is dirty and dumb, just like sex."

I nodded curtly before standing up from the bed.

"I have alot of homework I need to do tonight, so I think it would be best if you left. I'll text you."

He stood up and walked to the door, pausing to turn to me after opening it. "I love you, Elle." He stared at me, waiting for a reply.

"Yeah, see you in class tomorrow." I mumbled under my breath. He frowned, before walking out, closing the door behind him.

I took a deep breath, before reaching into my pocket to take out my phone. I searched through my contacts until I found the name I was looking for. I clicked call.

"Hello?" He answered on the second ring.

"Hey Harry, it's me."

"Hello, Elle. What do you need?"

"Well, I thought about your offer. And I decided to accept it." I could almost see him smirking on the other side of the phone.

"Great. I'll see you in class tomorrow then." And with that, he hung up.
